Hey, Sorry this isn't super helpful, but i had this problem once and was able to resolve it. I can't recall how I solved it and whether it was a problem with my codesys installation or the project itself. If it is the codesys installation, make sure all your required libraries and plugins are installed and available. compare with a colleagues installation if possible. I vaguely recall saving a copy of my project and deleting things one by one until the error went away...

Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution to send files, for example, to an ftp or a cloud. I can't use oscat library because 64 bit controller are not supported. Therefore, I see that the IIoT library has some functions that might help me to implement this sending process in codesys. Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? Hi, I have Proxmox running on a Rasperry 4 and have debian 12 ARM installed here. I wanted to install Codesys Control for Raspberry on it. According to the messages, the runtime environment and the gateway were installed successfully, but I can't find a device to downplay a program. The sudo service codesys start command fails. Hello @eschwellinger, Why not using one of those 2 folders: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS C:\Users\Public\Documents\CODESYS The main reason is depending on the company and the user right, the end user may not have the access to use those folders. Also having a non version dependent folder may help if the end user uninstall a previous version and forgot all its sample project where in this previous version installation. Thanks.

Maybe the CODESYS HMI is a good solution. https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-hmi-sl-bundle.html Run this on the remote main control station. In the HMI application you can add the data source manager and to this manager you can add Data sources. A data source has a reference to the PLC you want to connect to and can get access to the variables of the PLC application. You can then use these variables in the visualization of the HMI application.

Yes, you can use the CODESYS ControlWin V3 Soft PLC. However, if simulation is enabled on the device this will disable all communication, so you need to turn off simulation to view the visualization in a web browser. In simulation mode, all IO and communication is disabled for standalone testing. In addition, make sure to set the start visualization in the WebVisu object in the application tree. Moin, hat hier noch jemand das Problem, das die Codesysruntime (PFC100, Ver.4.11, projektiert mit Codesys 3.5.20sp1), auf der Steuerung nach kurzer Zeit mit einem AUSNAHMEFEHLER in STOP geht? Ich hatte das ganze schon am laufen, sollte dann ein Firmwareupdate durchfuehren (auf die neuste moegliche). Das Firmwareupdate konnte ich auf 03.10.08(22) ist sauber durchgelaufen, die Firmware laeuft auch noch wenn die runtime aufgegeben hat. bekomme die runtime nur dann wieder zum laufen, wenn ich den ganzen controller reboote.

I found out what I was doing wrong. I was entering the wrong IP in the gateway. I found that I have to enter the RPi's IP in the gateway field from this post https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/01703ca970/#d9f6 But I do not understand why it has to be the RPi's IP. Could anyone help me in clarifying this?

The message means that you (CODESYS) tries to open the function block, but this is not possible because the library which contains the FB is compiled. You either get this when you try to manually open the function block (while editing the application), but it could also happen that an exception occurs in the running application and CODESYS tries to show the location where it occured. If it happened in an FB of the compiled library, it cannot show this and you could get this message too.

Despite working on it for days, I haven't achieved any results. I followed the necessary steps one by one as mentioned in the file you sent, but there hasn't been the slightest change. I couldn't find the step you mentioned "Set the 'Can Board Type' to PCAN USB" in the Word document. There is no such setting anywhere I looked. Is there a more detailed explanation available, or can you explain it in more detail? What am I missing?

Hallo Forum Hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem Optimalem anpassen der Position und Grösse der Visualisierungselemente? Bei uns funktioniert in der Codesys 3.5 SP20 nur die Anpassung auf der x-Achse mit (Container.Width - Visu.Width). Die y-Achse wird jedoch mit (Container.Height - Visu.Height) nicht beeinflusst. Wir haben dies nach dem Beispiel von Codesys "Position und Größe optimal anpassen" umgesetzt und keinen Erfolg. Besten Dank für eure Hilfe.

Hello forum Does anyone have experience with optimally adjusting the position and size of the visualization elements? For us, the adjustment on the x-axis works in Codesys 3.5 SP20 with (Container.Width - Visu.Width). However, the y-axis is not affected with (Container.Height - Visu.Height). We implemented this according to the example from Codesys "Optimally adjust position and size" and had no success. Thank you very much for your help.

Hallo, ich möchte IEC 104 Protokolldaten von einem Gerät über Ethernet empfangen, in ein Modbus-TCP Protokoll umwandeln und weiter geben (lesen und schreiben) an andere Modbus Geräte. Dies soll auch in die andere Richtung funktionieren, so dass daten aus dem Modbus Register vom IEC Gerät ausgelesen werden können. die Umwandlung soll eine pfc200 sps von wago durchführen. am Ende sollen die Daten in einer Webansicht visualisiert werden. das Programm der wago möchte ich in codesys 3.5V programmieren. Kann mir jemand helfen, meine Erfahrung mit Codesys ist leider bis jetzt nur sehr grundlegend.

Hello everyone Since I have installed Codesys 3.5.20sp2 I cannot get the profinet features working again. Now I get RPC Blocked during device scan (see attached file) and when online I get RPC-call error (see attached file). I run Codesys on the last version of Windows 11, Profinet ports have been added to Firewall rules, and even with disabled Firewall I get same result I really never seen that before Same result using another PC I already spent 2 days to find the issu without any success, I would appreciate some help, thank you! Hello eschwellinger, at first thank you for your answer. So the only ways to activate the user management are CodeSys delevelopment enviroment and the Codesys Automation Server. So there is no function to activate the user management via code? Do you have an idea how to get back the users when somebody replaced the PLC. Our customers have only our own developed visualization and they also don't want to install further softwares. Do you maybe have a solution for this

Die Ausgabe bei lsusb ist im ersten Post im Bild usb.png zu sehen - der Dongle wird als WIBU Systems CmStick erkannt. Um Codesys als Soft-PLC darauf zum laufen zu bekommen habe ich das Addon Codesys Control for Linux ARM SL installiert und mir einen Docker gebaut mit den Dateien: codesyscontrol_linuxarm64_4.10.0.0_arm64.deb und codemeter-lite_7.60.5625.503_arm64.deb Wenn ich den Docker ausführe sind die beiden Programme ja inbegriffen und Codemeter sollte eigentlich die Erkennung des Dongles sicherstellen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit festzustellen, dass Codemeter korrekt ausgeführt wird?

Is it possible to have more details about this fix from the CodeSys team please ? Because I have several CM4 boards with the same hardware revision / OS but some of them works with the 4.10 runtime and others only works with the 4.13 runtime...

Hi, I'm watching an ifm tutorial on how to setup an industrial controller in CODESYS. I'm using an 'ecomatDisplay43inch_64bit) controller. CODESYS Gateway and PLC are both runngin (systray). However if I click "Scan Network" I can't find my controller. The only thing it finds is a "desktop" it seems (I'm using a Windows 10 on a Mac Book using VMWare, so maybe it has something to do with that?). How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!
