I tried to intalling codesys 64 3.5.19.0, during the installation process I get the following messages: "One or more problems have appeared with the current version profile. please consult with the supplier to solve the problem. -The plugin '{ee08241a-dd43-445a-b0a1-de9f717d92e0}(exactly 3.5.19.0)' is required for the current version profile but is not installed. The plug-in '{c7880c90-68c0-4cf8-a726-f0ee72b11f86}(exactly 3.5.19.0)' is required for the current version profile but is not installed. The add-on '{973a3934-1ec6-4770-83a4-59677803015a}(exactly 3.5.19.0)' is required for the current version profile but is not installed. It is recommended to terminate the application." Then the following message appears: "This package could not be installed: CODESYS Compatibility Package 3.5.17.20”. After that the instalation continue and the folling message appears: "It is possible that packages from this path could not be installed: C:\Users...\Appdata\Local\Temp{EFE2F~1}\Packages"

Hi everyone, I am still having device logon problem following a fresh install Here are the STEPS I went through following a FRESH CODESYS Win 64 3.5.19.60 install on a different computer. ‘Gateway not configured properly’ when attempting to REFRESH from the Users and Groups. Then did Gateway manage and confirmed it was ok: This message popped out as it was a fresh install: YES then: Initially went with Administrator twice (user & password) but it did not like it. No device is responding to …: Continued by setting a new user Pressed OK and obtained the following message: Stopped and Restarted PLC at that point: Obtained the following: Attempted to login a 2nd time without success. Then I scanned the network to see if matching device can be detected: Only way to get it detected was to remove the tick in the ‘Hide non-matching devices…’ Attempted a WINK but got a return like this one: REFRESH either @ Users and Groups or @ Access Rights returns: Then created user ‘mp’ at Project level ang logged in: Understandably device user mp9876 was not valid for the Project. Device information A few questions comes to my mind following these connection attempts: 1- Gateway not configured properly message pops out because of a non-compatible device ? 2- Why would the device not be compatible ? 3- Any way to make the device compatible ? 4- Any ideas on how to get this connectivity problem to the device solved ?

Hi, I am trying to build a CI/CD pipeline around our codesys projects. The only entry point if the git url and branch, as we do not put our project file under source control, so we needed to find a way to git clone from the python scripting engine. This is currently how we do this : system.commands["Git", "Clone"].execute( "ProjectLocation=" + project_dir, "ProjectName=" + project_file_name, "RemoteUrl=" + project_git_remote_url, "GitProjectStoragePath=" + project_git_local_dir, ) system.commands["Git", "Checkout", "Branch"].execute( "PrimaryProjectHandle=0", "BranchName=origin/" + project_git_branch ) This works fine, except that, depending on the environment and the project, the "Project Environment" popup gets displayed to suggest for some updates, and waits for a user interaction, even with the "--noUI" flag injected as parameter. I investigated the VersionUpdateFlags, but the problem is that the git clone is an atomic operation that clones and directly opens the generated project without the possibility to inject any updateFlags argument (only used in the ScripProjects.open() function. I also tried to simulate some keyboard events acknowledge the window from script but I did not find the right location for the SendKeys statement, I think before the git clone call is too early and after is too late. So I am wondering if there would be some other way to do that. Is there some more proper scripting api for the git add on ? Is there a global configuration of the VersionUpdateFlags that would allow the popup to be disabled outside from any project context ? Is there some way to automatically acknowledge this kind of messages in a "--noUI" mode ? What do you suggest ? Thanks for your help, Roland Edit : I managed to solve my problem by following these steps in my pipeline : - create a template of a project and opt file preconfigured not to open the popup - open this project - initialize an empty git repo - add the remote, fetch and checkout the needed branch -> no popup is displayed, hourra Edit2 : The initial question was raised on a CODESYS V3.5 SP18 Patch 2 profile. I just installed codesys runtime on a raspberry pi Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz (Compute Module 4) I am running on Codesys control for raspberry pi 64 SL ver 4.13.0 and I keep getting a crash after about five to ten minutes. This program was running fine on a 32bit system with runtime 4.8 previously but they upgraded the panel PC cause it got smashed. Looking at the logs I see this error "ERROR: GetNetLinkSockAndInfoByMac(): could not open netlink socket: Too many open files" at the time of crash. I do have a UDP socket open for a serial to ethernet adapter and im wondering if maybe its opening a bunch of sockets and while receiving messages, Im not sending anything to the device only receiving. Hello, I'm relatively new to PLC programming. I am trying to creat a ramp down function, I have an example here of what I am using. I can get the function to work, the issue is that the OUT (variable3) value is being held by the FB so after I use it once it no longer works. In this example i set variable3 to 100 and the rest is as seen, over the course of a minute it ramped down to 10 (as desired). But when I deenergize TEST_START, set variable3 back to 100, and then re-energize TEST_START it immediately jumps back to the previously held value 10. The reset on this block just pauses the function and holds the last OUT. In my case I will need the function to start OUT at a set value, ramp down to the IN (variable2) value, and then accept a new OUT value to ramp down next time the block is energized. Hopefully this made sense, if anyone has any advice that would be awesome!

It seems like the VisuElems library has updated functions to the ones you used but apparently these older ones still work, even if I couldn't find them in the library documentation and they are also not suggested automatically by Codesys (when using Ctrl + Space). (I'm working on 2 raspberry pi ) The same project compiled for 4.8.0.0 runtime with CodeSys 3.5SP20 is working fine on one target, and on the other one, my UAexpert receives the same "BadIdentityTokenInvalid" and none is working on 4.11.0.0 either ... anybody ?

I don't have a multiplexer so it very weird that it connects with that multiplexer. If i do a I2C scan on the PI terminal, i only get the device addresses 0x48 and 0x51. One for the ADC and one for RTC. I will try again with your libraries
