Hello, I have an RFID reader that is detected as a keyboard. While looking for information, I came across examples using visualization. I would like to read the ID without visualization or external code in python, only in PLC. I found on the forum that you can try reading directly from potru /dev/... https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/24b3527036/ How to read values directly in codesys? Hello I not sure if I made this topic under the right category. But I have a error, when I try to run a simple code on simulation or PLC. I have also tried to make a fresh project. I am testing the PLC and want to see if there is some way I can make an actuator run. Please help by looking at the picture, Iam stuckd and I don't know how to fix it.

Dear reader, I am using the codesys JSON utilities SL, 1.9.0.0 library. And then specifically the FB JSONBuilder. I need to create a main object with at least 2 objects in it. The first object is no problem, but I cannot insert the second object into the main object. See attached my code and the result I get. I am assuming that I am doing something wrong with the parent index but have tried a lot and can't get it done. Kind regards, Rob

Good day I have been asked to do a project. It is for a pharmaceutical application and data needs to be logged. The spec calls for the control system to comply with GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11. From what I can find online it's got to do with electronic records and validation. Has anyone developed any software using this or are there codesys librarys that can make my life easier in writing this code

That's what I found as well Shaun. I have seen it at least in versions 3.5.21.1 and 3.5.21.3. There seems to be an issue with the FBD/LD package v4.6.0.0. The workaround proposed by Tim works but needs to be done manually on every code change/addition. For now we manually downgrade the FBD/LD package from v4.6.0.0 down to v4.5.0.0 after installation of CoDeSys. Same as you did. I hope this gets fixed on a next patch.

Dear @gseidel, Thank you for your reply. The exact version of Codesys and its compiler was 3.5.21.20. The compiler version was fixed and could not be changed in project settings. Since I couldn't continue due to this compilation error, I temporarily overcame this issue as follows. -- I completely uninstalled Codesys 3.5.21.20 and completely deleted the Codesys folder in the C:\ProgramData folder. -- I restarted my computer and installed Codesys 3.5.19.70. -- I updated the Codesys Installer and all its add-ons to the latest versions. -- The project that was giving me the compilation error I mentioned before is now open with Codesys 3.5.19.70, compiled it, and successfully downloaded it on the device. -- I haven't encountered the same problem anymore. I think this issue is related to SP21 and its compiler. Frankly, I'd expect a project created with an older version to compile without errors after opening it with the latest Codesys version and updating all libraries. Regards, imdatatas
