One workaround is to create a second application which is started after the rested of the main application. The second application starts the main application after time x and is rest after done start of the main application. No problems during the fieldbus re-start by this workaround.

I added new Gateway and I can see it connected. When I scan the server for PLC, it finds the PLC but when I click the Add To Server button, it shows "PLC was added." in the status. But I can't find the PLC in the list. I tried removing the gateway and re-configure everything again but it didn't solve. Any ideas?

In our application with CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 5 and the Soft-PLC Name: CODESYS Control Win V3 x64 Typ: 4096 ID: 0000 0004 Version: 3.5.19.50 the application behaves differently when we start the application via Cmp.AppStartApplication(pApp) than when we press the "Start" button in online mode in the IDE. Hallo, Ich gehe gerade Möglichkeiten durch, wie ich Buttons so erstellen kann, dass ich sie nachträglich möglichst einfach bearbeiten kann um z.B. die Farben des Aktiven/Inaktiven Zustandes darzustellen. Die Buttons bestehen aus einem Hintergrund als Farbverlauf, einem Text und einem Icon. Ich habe zuerst den ESC Image Button verwendet, aber auch hier müsste ich nacheinander alle Buttons bearbeiten, wenn ich z.B. die Hintergrundfarbe anpassen will. Jetzt habe ich die Buttons als einzelne Visualisierungen erstellt und in der Visu jeweils als Frames eingeblendet. Den Zustand kann ich dann durch unsichtbare Elemente in der Buttonvisu darstellen. Weil hinter jeder Buttonvisu ein Frame meines Hintergrundes liegt, kann ich die einfach anpassen. Siehe Bild- der Frame ist der graue Hintergrund, das Rechteck ist die Umrandung für den Status mit einer transparenten Füllfarbe. Gibt es da eine einfachere Möglichkeit die Elemente zu verknüpfen, sodass ich einen Button habe, den ich nachträglich möglichst einfach abändern kann? Bei den Buttons bei denen ich keine Icons einblende, kann ich direkt den Text auf den Hintergrundframe setzen. Wenn ich hier aber das farbige Randungsrechteck für den Status über das Frame liege, verdeckt es diesen natürlich. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit Elemente so einzublenden, dass dahinter liegende Elemente angeklickt werden können? Alternativ muss ich die Aktion auch noch mit dem überlagertem Element verknüfen.

Hello is there a chance to set with a visu input the auto-logout time? At the moment, it is a fix value set in visu-manager. But for individual configurating of passwort policies I create a visu-dialog to set policies and there for an option to set auto-logout-time. But till now, I haven't found a solution. Hi, I have the user situation represented in the image and I would like CustomerAdmin to only be able to modify/add/delete users relating to the CustomerUser group and nothing else. How can I do? It would be enough not to display the users belonging to the SuperAdmin, Technician1 and Technician2 groups and also the related groups in the UserMgmtConfig dialog box. Can anyone help me? Moin, ich arbeite an einer Visualisierung einer Fernbedienung, die auf mobilen Geräten laufen soll. Bei Iphones ist uns die Eigenheit aufgefallen, dass bei langem druck auf einen Button, die gesamte Seite markiert wird und dann kopiert werden kann. Manchmal popt auch die kleine Lupe auf, die einem helfen soll den Courser genauer zu platzieren. Weiß jemand ob man dieses Verhalten vielleicht durch zusätzliche Einträge in der webvisu.htm unterdrücken kann? Gruß, Daniel

Hello All! Having a strange issue. When adding a library, I'm unable to search. Each time a window pops up 'creating the search index' and then has 0 results. I have the same behavior when using the library repository and pressing the 'Find' button. I wonder if there is a way to reset or fix this issue? It is making it very difficult to search and find proper libraries to add to my project. Much appreciated.

But as soon as I use Frame configuration I lose all other properties but some very basics. I need to have still possibility to set Input configuration because my element is Button. I have not gotten to the bottom of this yet no. I have double check that the variables are correct linked. When online with the program I can see the button and rung going true for the move instruction, yet it does not change. Forcing the bit in the program does change the value in Groov View. I am kind of at a loss here, especially since the other POU(For the pumps) does the same thing fine.

When creating a new Codesys library, I am getting 2 errors for missing libraries. I can see that I am using newer versions of these in the library manager (3.5.17.0 and 3.5.19.0 opposed to 3.5.8.0 and 3.5.7.0 stated in the errors). IDE Version is V3.5 SP19 Patch 6. The "Download missing libraries..." button in Messages list is not doing anything. Why is it looking for older versions of these libraries? Can this be fixed by using the newer versions? How can I download & install the older version of these libraries?

gatto, That works. Thanks. Typically I use my mouse more than my keyboard. That's why I was looking for a delete option from the right-click context menu or a delete button on a toolbar at the top. It never occured to me to use the keyboard. It might be a little more user friendly if they allowed a mouse wise ability to remove a line from the grid as well as the DEL key. Just a suggestion. Hi, We are currently using a Raspberry Pi 4 CM4 module in a EdgeBox RPI 200 - Industrial Edge Controller running the latest CODESYS Runtime Package 4.11.0.0. On the PC (actually an Intel Macbook Pro running Windows 10 in Parallels) we run CODESYS V3.5.19.50. Yesterday end of day when I was about to logoff and head home, I wanted to send the latest build to the Raspberry I clicked the Login button to compile a new version and then sync the application and all the files, it get's stuck on the last file to sync (see attached screenshot). This takes eternally, although sometimes, when I use my SFTP client (Cyberduck) and go into the raspberry and refresh the directory /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic/visu/, or when I open the actual file visuelemsdatetime.tl_datetime.txt, it gets un-stuck (forcing a refresh, which might fix the syncing issue) and CODESYS continues and I can click the Start button to start the application. But this SFTP force refresh trick does not always help either... What could be the issue here? network connectivity? Can someone please help me out?

Servus beianand, eine kurze Vorstellung, da ich hier neu bin Wohne und Arbeite in Bayern seit 27 Jahren als Programmierer. Mit Codesys arbeite ich seit 4 Jahren. Für mein Projekt hab ich die einfache Rezepturverwaltung verwendet. Bis jetzt alles unproblematisch, hab aber jetzt ein wenig um- und aufgeräumt, prinzipiell aber nicht verändert. Ich kann Rezepturen mit neuem Namen speichern, wenn ich aber den gleichen Namen verwende, öffnete sich bisher ein Dialogfenster mit "File already exists..." Neu öffnet sich aber der Dialog mit kryptischen Zeichen ohne Eingabemöglichkeit und ohne das Fenster wieder schließen zu können. Dann kann ich nur noch aus und wieder einschalten. Hat jemand eine Idee?

Dank umfangreicher Hilfe durch den Kontron Support kann ich nun wieder übersetzen. Es waren einige Bibliotheken auf einem älteren, nicht 64bit-kompatiblen Stand. Beim Öffnen des Projektes erscheint zwar ein Dialog zum Aktualisieren der Bibliotheken. Diesen hatte ich auch mit "Auf neueste setzen" bestätigt. Trotzdem waren etliche Bibliotheken im Projekt veraltet. Leider habe ich noch keine Stelle in der Online Hilfe gefunden, die die Zusammenhänge in der Bibliotheksverwaltung und das Vorgehen bei Fehlern erklärt. (Z.B. wie man vermeiden kann, dass eine Komponente automatisch eine ältere Bibliotheksversion lädt, obwohl eine aktuelle Version der gleichen Bibliothek schon hinzugefügt wurde.) Vielen Dank für die Hilfe!
