I am using the object SMC_GEOINFO to generate a trajectory and move a system accordingly using the SMC_INTERPOLATOR function block similar to the sample project CNC10_DynamicPath.project. According to the documentation, the movement type INITPOS does not require a start position in the SMC_GEOINFO object, which is confirmed in the documentation of the SMC_GEOINFO object. When using the movement type INITPOS however, the motion will still start from the starting point defined in the SMC_GEOINFO object (0,0,0 if not specified otherwise). Does someone know how to resolve this or is there an example project that makes use of the INITPOS movement type without specifying the starting point? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am getting the following error and warning when trying to download a project into a PLC: - Library CmpTargetVisu has not been added to the Library manager, or no valid license could be found - Unkown type: 'CmpEventMgr.EventParam' As far as I can see, both are included, and licensed, in the library manager (see image). What could the problem be, and how would I resolve this?

I want to cancel the automatic address allocation for all IO mappings. If I directly set the automatic_iec_address in class ScriptIoMapping to False, the address becomes None. So I reset manual_iec_address with itselfs value. It only work with the Input IOMapping . For output, it reports an error: "Invalid address: The channel type 'Output' requires address type '%Q'." I checked the description file ,both accessRight are total same. Does anyone know what causes this?

Hello, We have a problem with CodeSys on a raspbery pi with an ADS1015 analog to I2C module. It can't find the I2C device on the i2c bus, it says No I2C Driver Found. When we use the RPI terminal we can find the I2C device and read it out. The i2c-1 bus is also accessible from codesys. The device address of the Analog to I2C module is 0x48. Can someone have a look what the problem is? i submitted the screenshots in the attachments. i also include the device description and library.

I have a problem with the CODESYS IO-Link SL software. When I insert a IO link master AL1332 and plug a discrete digital input to a channel it reads only 1 of the 2 available inputs on that channel. Is there anyone who sorted out if the second input is also usable? When we configure the module without the CODESYS IO-Link SL software then the second input on the channel can be used. At the moment we use some channels on a module as IO-link port, and some as discrete IO. It would be very nice if we can use both inputs on a channel with the use of CODESYS IO-Link SL.

I have created an EtherCAT slave code and fixed two slaves (IDs written in the 0xF050 object dictionary). The module IDs are 0x1 and 0x101, respectively. It can be scanned normally in TwinCAT, but when scanning in CODESYS, it reports an error. Why is this happening？text in the second pic means 'device cannot be found in repository'

Try to repair Codesys2.3 and need to uninstall and reinstall it. Got this RUNDLL message when uninstall Codesys 2.3: There was a problem starting, the specificed module could not be found. Please refer to attached file. Followed suggestions from Microsoft website and didn't work out. I am using Codesys2.3.9.16. Any help is appreciated.

Is it possible under CODESYS V3.5 SP18, to connect a split (german Leitungsverzweigung) with an existing block (e.g. AND-module)? Or to connect the output of an existing block to the input of an existing block (e.g. OR-block)? Any ideas? P.S.: Sorry for the german title, I do not know how modify the title.

Nope! The file path is $$PlcLogic$$ and NOT $$PLCLogic$$. Otherwise a new folder ('PLCLogic') is created (at least with a linux rt - like raspberry or compute module) with the new file in it if you open the file with eFileMode := FILE.MODE.MRDWR. That is a bad bug that I'll report right after this comment.

Hello everyone, I’m currently working on setting up an EtherCAT Master using CODESYS on a Raspberry Pi, and I’ve run into some issues I could use help with. Project Setup: EtherCAT Master: Raspberry Pi with CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL installed EtherCAT Slave: Beckhoff CX5130 with EK1200 coupler I/O Module: EL2008 License Module: EL6070-0033 I’ve installed the required CODESYS packages and the Linux gateway on the Raspberry Pi. In my project, I added the EtherCAT Master with the appropriate port settings and scanned for devices. The CX5130 shows up as a slave, but communication fails—I'm getting error messages and can't access the outputs. Specifically: The EL2008 output module isn’t recognized properly in CODESYS. There’s no option to communicate with it through the CX5130. I’ve tried connecting via both the Raspberry Pi’s built-in Ethernet port and an external network card. I've attached screenshots showing the errors I get in CODESYS and the devices detected via TwinCAT for reference. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! IF you have an USB interface type in "Peak_USB" for CAN card driver (Name of CAN card driver). No need to add libraries for communication via CoDeSys Gateway. For other card types contact PEAK support and they will help you. Regards,

So it's currently mapped to an array of BYTES? Can you create a UNION? TYPE sBytesString : UNION AsBytes: ARRAY[0..127] OF BYTE; AsString: STRING(128); END_UNION END_TYPE Map it to the bytes, read it in the STRING!

You should not use the "open dialog" to change the value. Instead use the input configuration "Write Variable" to change a variable value in the visualization. in the setting of this input command, you can choose the Input type (select dialog).
