I have a Codesys environment running and would like to inject code into the running environment at the same time using a code generator with Python via the console. So far I can only start a new Codesys instance with Python, but not access an already running one. How can I access the running Codesys instance?

Hello, I have just went through all steps shown on Codesys YT channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPoPscbo3Kc And it works, I have installed PI OS 32 bit and choose Single Core. However, immediattely when I create standard project with Raspberrz pi device, "Application" is underlined, like there is an error, but in reality there are no errors, and I cannot see what are these 3 messages like shown in attachment. Aside for this red underline, everything seems to work fine. How to correct this? Thank you! Update: I have found what errors are, but not sure how to correct them: Identifier 'IoDrvGPIO' not defined Function block 'IoDrvGPIO' must be instantiated to be accessed 'IoDrvGPIO' is no component of 'IoDrvGPIO'

When I try connect by other OPC UA Client everything is ok. Look like codesys have a problem with 'Tags' group. It possible add manually measurements form 'tag' group to codesys ?

I recently acquired the Opus B4 product from topcon company and encountered a "code 7" error in the Web Visu File Transfer application. I have been unable to locate the CFG files mentioned above. If your Control Win is the Modbus "Master" then your configuration should be something like: Modbus_COM (Serial port) - Modbus Master (this is the Control Win SoftPLC actively setting up the communication) - Modbus Slave (this is then your WAGO 750-315) You need to add channels to the Modbus Slave configuration to inform the master which variables to read/write from the Wago module. The way you configured it now, the Control Win is also a slave. PS, don't forget to put the PLC (Control Win) in Run.

First of all you need to enable "Use unicodestrings" in the Visualization Manager. This function returns a pointer to a WSTRING (not STRING). To get this wstring value, do something like this: VAR myWstringVariable : WSTRING(255); END_VAR myWstringVariable := myResult^; // this is dereferencing the pointer to the WSTRING.

You cannot create an array of Programs. Create a Function Block for this purpose instead of a program. You can create an array of FB instances and call each instance in a loop.

Hi, In Codesys V3.5 SP20, using Data Source Manager I am trying to connect to the OPC UA server and receive tags from it. The connection is ok, but the Codesys have a problem with downloading Tags group. The window (downloadingTags.jpg in attachement) never stop. After waiting for a while, I disconnect the connection and only the Server group remains downloaded, with OPC UA server diagnostic data (and this is read in Codesys). Of course, I tried connected via another OPC UA client : UaExpert , and everything works as it should, all tags are downloaded (Uaexpert.jpg screen). Has anyone on the forum encountered the OPC UA client configuration in Codesys? Is it possible to manually request the appropriate tags from the OPC server for reading in Codesys?

hast du geprüft das der Wibu-Service von Codesys korrekt installiert ist und auch läuft. wird der CmContainer sauber erkannt? Welche ausgabe ist auf der console wenn der usb stick angesteckt ist wenn du lsusb eingjbst??
