Thanks for the feedback. However, I don't have a solution for you at this time. Maybe someone else has a better solution for this? Then I am all ears for too.
Try using: https://sqlitebrowser.org/
If possible, you could consider usage of FB_Init etc. See CODESYS help for more information on this initialisation mechanism

Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should. What damage (human, environment, product/machine) is to be expected when the button in question is NOT available while the button was pressed?

Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should. What damage (human, environment, product/machine) is to be expected when the button in question is NOT available? The amount of time you have put in this question far exceeds wiring a button ;-) Wiring is IMHO the best option, as HMI's are not designed for this type availibility. Otherwise you should consider CPU/Bus/IO redundancy instead.
Just some uninformed two cents. Why not hardwire this this functionality to a physical button instead..
If you want any kind of help, you can post your .projectarchive here ;-) Saving an archive can be done via: file - save as projectarchive That way we can help you by opening your projectarchive instead of us just guessing to what might be your problem. Hope you 'll post. PS if you use Codesys3, it would be prudent to use methods/properties instead of actions. Actions allow for less fine-grained access when compared to methods or properties. example: actions cannot be made private or protectee and...

For the best results you should design graphics for your 5" (resolution?) display. Rescaling it to a larger screen afterwards is easier... So, for good results, work from small to large.

On using the RC versions of CfUnit
Hi There! You are cordially invited to testdrive "The Latest CfUnit Release Candidate" before it will receive a public release! This means the software is expected to behave fully functional but misses some documentation and might still receive small fixes until it gets it's official release. Offcourse this public release will be announced in due time also. So, whats new in CfUnit v1.1.0.0 ? Many improvements and bugfixes over v1.0.0.0, 100% backward compatible, so there is no need to rewrite tests...

Hi Marcel, The simple anwser is indeed to view an external file via the text-editor. But as I have understood the TP's question, the file mentioned is a CODESYS devicelog file. If such a file is easily viewable via the text-editor, I am surely highly interested in a working solution. In other words, if it is truely that simple, would you show us how by providing a working example? From that point forward I am sure we can manage on our own. With kind regards, Aliazzz

Fixed Ticket 42/37
Can I add extra stuff into the log?
Nice work! Maybe a suggestion, phase out the actions for methods/properties. Plus, keep up the contributions! Talk Topic about project #csv-write-read
Hi Wolvieh, In CDS 3.5.16.0, this project has 24 errors. All errors are pointer related.. Would you mind sharing a .projectarchive? Maybe you can open a Forge Project and upload it there? See https://forge.codesys.com/prj/wiki/Home/
