So, in the end there's a way to go around the issue I had, I was adding the devices by scanning the EtherCAT Network, the ESI files used after the scan weren't the right ones, I was then performing an "update device" in order to use the ESI files that were suiting my use. Well that way the SafetyApplication wasn't able to detect the FSOE IOs in my network. Deleting all of the devices integrating an FSOE component and then adding them back "manually" did the trick and the safety application was able...
Hi yannick or to anyone who can help, I have a similar issue as you had on one of your previous post. I use a EL1918 as my safety PLC and for some safe inputs with a EL2904 for my safety outputs, I have added the IOs of both of these devices in my "Logical I/Os" however the field "Physical I/O mapping" is greyed out and blank I'd like to know how you manage to link them. Should I be able to complete this linking manually ?

Actually I addressed the profinet device wrong in the controller.
Actually I adressed the profinet device wrong in the controller.
Thanks for the heads up. A little update, after quite some trial and error, it turns out its not really feasible to configure a profinet controller and a profinet device on the same RPi. Thankfully We had another Rpi nearby. I now use a RPi as a Profinet Controller and another RPi as two distinct profinet devices. Currently it doesn't work as expected however there's some progress. I now have to solve some DCP Error.
I will post an update if I make any progress.

Hello, I'm having some issues with a test I'm trying to perform. For more context, my goal in the end is to communicate with a Profinet Controller from one of my plant equipments made by a third party company (it's a die cast machine). I want to simulate two Profinet IO device exchanging data with a Profinet IO controller, no Profisafe communication is required. Those two Profinet device are currently robot controller. Our end goal is to put our controller between the die cast machine PLC and the...

So it worked in the end, somehow in the component manager the Cmp1000 wasn't selected but another I can't say if the problems comes from the software itself or if the issue was between the chair and the keyboard, anyway after a PLC restart it worked, thanks for the help
Please Ignore the message above. Thank you for your answer, I've been able to correctly install the Cmp1000 on the second frontside Ethernet PORT, now on my network adapters I have a device called "CoDeSys EtherExpress Gbit PCI Ethernet Adapter2", but when I want to use it as my EtherCAT master and I scan the network I get these errors:
ScanModules: no slaves found
<Entry severity="warning"...

Excuse me I wanted to post this message on the Runtime Forum, I don't know if an administrator or a moderator might be able to change it.
Hi, I've been trying to install a Codesys Control RTE V3 runtime on a Beckhoff CX2040 PC, everything went quite smoothly except for the fact that I can't use one of the two front Ethernet port as a EtherCAT master as I was able to do when I used TwinCAT , I've installed the cmpCX5000Mpd, I've read that you used to not be able to use the front Ethernet port as EtherCAT master, however it has since been fixed as you can see in the following picture. The issue is that Codesys keeps talking about installing...
