Hello, I use a PFC200 with codesys for my home automation. I would like the light outputs to be persistent since it is a pain in the b... that every time when I re-upload the program or restart the PLC the lights go out... I use push buttons an a toggle function block to control the lights. I have made the final output variable persistent, but when the program starts, the output "Q" of the toggle FB gets reset ofcourse and the light is switched off. I have tried to define the entire block as retain...

Hello, I am having a very annoying problem. I have programmed a PFC200 with codesys 3.5 for my home automation. It controls my lights and my heating (with the HVAC Building & Process Automation SL library) (and a couple of energy meters). I also have a visualisation for the heating. When I start the PLC everything is fine. 50% CPU load and 17% memory use. The problem is that every day the memory use goes up by about 5-10% (give or take) until it is completely full and the PLC stops working. Really...

Had the same thing and this solved my problem, Thanks! Please allow me to clarify the procedure for people that might have the same problem... In codesys you double click on the device go to PLC Shell. You will only see a gray field with an input area at the bottom type serialmode rs485 and enter Et voila...

Hi Edwin, thanks for the fast response. I might have found another solution... I have added an SD card and rebooted and now the memory use is stable... Maybe it wanted to write something to the sd card but couldn't so it was kept in the memory? I'm also monitoring the space on the SD card and there seems to be no noticeable decline in free space. If the situation would change I will come back :)

I have a rather annoying problem... I have a PFC 200 that I program with codesys and the Pfaender HVAC library. I also control the lights with it. I have removed all trend recordings from the HVAC programming, but the memory of the PFC200 (the 256MB) slowly fills up over about 5 days. After the memory is full, everything just stops working and I have to do a reset by removing power. After this the cycle restarts from the beginning... I have attached a printscreen from the htop command in SSH
