I am searching for the same thing in 2021 and in this Codesys forum nobody has answered anything on your query. Codesys forum is the most useless forum I have encountered. Why Codesys developers don't share their experiences?
I am running "Codesys SoftMotion Win 64" and this works as as long as I can connect+upload my Codesys to this Virtual PLC, I am able to run the PLC program which has Hardware selected as "CODESYS SoftMotion Win V3 x64". I have virtual axis in my program. Now unfortunately the whole idea was to connect to the Virtual PLC's OPC UA server, connect to PLC variables and test the PLc program in Virtual Environment. This is not going well as the Virtual Software is not getting access to the Codesys Virtual...
