Hello everybody, I'm trying to understand the SL control extension package, more specifically, the external IODriver example, because C integration is very easy and I just made my first C component successfully. Ther External IODriver has no documentation and it's not clear how to proceed. Furthermore, there is no information on how to modify the device descriptor, which is necessary to import the device into the Codesys repository. Any advice ? Thank you in advance and best regards.

Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution to send files, for example, to an ftp or a cloud. I can't use oscat library because 64 bit controller are not supported. Therefore, I see that the IIoT library has some functions that might help me to implement this sending process in codesys. Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? I have spent some days with this issue without success. Best regards.

Hello everybody, I think I need a clarification about Codesys Virtual control SL, because after receiving many calls about this product, now I am not sure what it is, and what better place than this to clarify them. In my opinion, Codesys Virtual Control is not a new product, but a new work philosophy. For example, let's imagine that I have a computer with 30 cores, lots of RAM, many ethernet ports, etc ... For other users, this is the code I use with Control RTE SL to shutdown windows. VAR xShutdown: BOOL; Result: RTS_IEC_RESULT; END_VAR IF xShutdown THEN SysProcess.SysProcessExecuteCommand('shutdown -s -t 1', ADR(Result)); xShutdown := FALSE; END_IF And that's all. Best regards

Hi, I just downloades the Contro RTE data sheet and it isn't clear how many cores can use Control RTE. When I install Control RTE, just ask about how many cores has the CPU. Can RTE Control use more than one or just one core? Best regards.

The connection between master and slave is OK. But if I just connect the sencond NIC into PCIe, I have some errors, for example, CF813F07 ARP Multiple IP Address.

Hi, I would like to know what is or what are the differences between both systems. I have read some documents in Codesys Help but I didn't find the inforation Both systems support profinet I/O so, what is the reason to use CIFX card or PC NIC ? Does the CIFX card has more features that PC NIC ? Kind regards

I'm going to ask a question, which although it seems silly, for me is not. Yesterday a customer tried to run a Control RTE V3 in a virtual machine, but according to my logic, it doesn't make sense and I also don't know if it would work. So, the question is: .- is it possible to run a Control RTE V3 in a virtual machine? .- If the answer is yes, is it possible to use a virtual network as Ethercat Master ? Hello Everybody, I just downloaded Codesys SVN addon to install in my standard Codesys IDE ( not professional ), but I can be able to test it because it requests a licence. is it possible to test it as demo licence? or is it necessary to buy professional version? or maybe... is it possible to download a demo version of professional IDE? Hello everybody, I have looked for this information without success. Could someone tell me if there is any limit on the connections to webvisu? Another question.... Does Codesys support VNC ? or only the OS ( for example Raspbian in the Raspberry Pi ) that supports the VNC? Kind regards.
