Hi,

I'd like to request a functionality which shows a summary of the latest additions/mutations/deletions within cforge.
In short, a list with pages which have been updated most recently ands shows what, where, when and by who, etc, etc..
Currently it's rather difficult to find out if anythings has been added/edited. Maybe such a functionality is allready available, but I have not discovered it (yet)?

Good idea. Sadly the concept of Allura (the base framework of CODESYS Forge) has its focus on hosting independent projects. As we are a much closer community, the view on things is sometimes a bit different.

But all is extendable on different degrees. I will discover a pragmatical solution.

I added a page, describing how to follow other people, wikis, blogs, etc.
Together with the dashboard, which was introduced with the Allura update now, I think the situation improved significantly.

The dashboard replaces the home page after you logged in.

I would please you to check it out, and give me feedback if you need more.

This follow & dashboard feature is a very good start! It neatly shows activity of everybody I follow (which at the moment is only you).

The actual plan is to leave this as is. The dashboard is in our view a good way to follow people and projects. And a news section to populate changes of the Forge infrastructure might follow.

    Addition to this ticket:
I just added a link named "Activity" to the menu. It uses a sorted search.

      Works like a charm!

Resume: the page shows all activity unfiltered and sorted in time.
      https://forge.codesys.com/search/?q=%3A&sort=mod_date_dt+desc

My suggestion would be to integrate this into in the user's Home. This way the user can see all latest activity unfiltered, next to all subscribed activity.
