Hi,
removing admin user does not make sense.
The procedure is to remove a password:
Login to the device (usually you should know the password and the user)
- then Upload from device
- doubleclick on Everyone (or the user on which you want to remove the pw)
- remove the Password
- dowload to device
- online-> security-> logoff current online user
then try to relogin to the device - now it is possible again.
By the way there are 3 different usermanagement available in CODESYS
1. UserManagerment for CODESYS Project - POU's could be protected
2. Visu Usermanagment - Visu pages could have agess rights
3. plc online user managment protection against accidental or unauthorized Login
In that case we are talking about Point 3.

Hello ! I have a similar problem. I am not able to perform any action, instead a pop up appears saying that I should logon. I do not remember the password and username. I have uninstalled the whole software and reinstalled it. But it shows the same problem. I am not able to find out the issue. Please help.

I have the same problem. When you go in Users and Groups by the Device and click on Synchronization, it says User Management is not activate and if you want to activeate click Yes.
After you activate the User Management it seems that I cannot deactivate it anymore. It will always ask for the login.
I tried the things that are here written but with no success. How can I deactivate the Device User Managment of the controller. There is also no possibility to put a blank admin password or to delete all the users.
In help.codesys.com doesn't say how to deactivate it. I am using Webvisu and after each refresh you have to login again (sooo annoying ). To flash again the Beaglebone it is a lot of work and I think I will loose the license also. Is it there a possibility to deactivate it? Or maybe to delete the Device Logon direct from Beaglebone without deleting the License?

have you tried removing the online user ? see screenshot... if you have added one.
In your case you need to remove the Password for your user.
