I initialized a codesys repository, in parallel I have another repository for the project file. I push both repo's to remote, until here no issues.
Another developer clones both repositories, these happen to be stored in the same local location. When he opens the project this pops up: Failed to make directory 'xxxx' directory exists Project becomes disconnected from the repo....
If another developer clones both repositories and these happen to be stored in a different local location, a pop up called Git Project Recovery prompts you to specify the new location, after he does that, this pops up: Failed to make directory 'xxxx' directory exists Project becomes disconnected from the repo....
These makes collaboration impossible, hence Codesys GIT unusable.
Can somebody help?

I have another repository for the project file.
-> If the .project file is to be stored in another repository, then this only makes sense without the connection to the CODESYS Git repository.
Best regards

What I said then, useless plugin. I just learnt that you have the same problem in SVN.
How didn't you realize how important is for the developers to be able to get online to a target device, by just pulling from one (at worst two) repositories?
In other words, project file, project content and boot files should be stored in remote repositories.
Or I am the only guy having this problem?
