I'm looking to build a home automation project using Codesys, Node-Red as well as Amazon Alexa using a RaspberryPi. The goal is to trigger functions through Alexa and trigger GPIO of the RaspberryPi that would interface devices. I would document the process on my engineering blog that I run (https://www.solisplc.com/). I'm looking for some pointers as to how some of you used Codesys on a RaspberryPi hardware. There seem to be solutions that drive GPIO directly while others would use industrial hardware that communicates over Ethernet. Any hardware that you'd recommend?
Thank you,
Vlad
