I'm hoping to tap into some of your Codesys expertise. I have a 4-20mA analog input being source generated and i've managed to IO map it to read A value on codesys. I've gone online and connected Codesys to my Device and I can see a snapshot of what the value once was set to, but it doesn't seem to change in real time. I'd like to be able to watch the program, and see the value change within Codesys when i'm changing it out in the field (via a source generator).
In simple terms, I want my device to give me an analog input that I can mirror into my program and watch the value change as it changes on the device - and at the moment, I can't get that to happen.

Unused inputs/outputs (not used anywhere in your application) are not updated by default by CODESYS. See: https://faq.codesys.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=106889249 for more information.
PS, putting the PLC in RUN could also help :-).
