The simple anwser is indeed to view an external file via the text-editor.
But as I have understood the TP's question, the file mentioned is a CODESYS devicelog file.
If such a file is easily viewable via the text-editor, I am surely highly interested in a working solution.
In other words, if it is truely that simple, would you show us how by providing a working example? From that point forward I am sure we can manage on our own.
