    Hello,

I have raspberry pi 3 Model B+. Extended hardware is LED-strip with APA102C. It is connected to the SPI interface of the raspberry pi.

    I use codesys software.
For the LED-strip I need append an APA102C device to the SPI-master.

    Does this APA102C device exist?
If Yes, from which site/link can I download this device?

    Thanking you in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Jan

I am not familiar with any device drivers for addressable LED's. Unfortunately because of that my answers won't give you a straight forward solution.

The first answer I have is

You could make your own. Here are the instructions.

    The second answer is

What you could do is use something like the Pixelblaze with it's network functionality. You could also use the various inputs on the sensor board, or mimic the communication that sensor board provides.

There are other solutions out there. Some LED controllers can take advantage of MQTT for instance.

      Thank you for the information.
I think also you are right with the first answer.
It shall take a lot of effort to realize the solution.
