I have to tranfer my codesys developing software to a new PC.
On my old PC (win 7), all my licences were saved in ...

    C:\users\All users\licences

Where I need to put this data on my new PC (win 10)

    ???

    Regards

    Mg

Are these Codemeter licenses? If so the below page will help you.

    https://www.wibu.com/magazine/keynote-articles/article/detail/borrowing-and-transferring-licenses.html

It looks like this page might also be helpful to you.

    https://help.codesys.com/webapp/_cds_cmd_license_repository;product=codesys;version=3.5.11.0

    -----Copied from the page-----

    Command β€˜License Repository’

Return allowed: It is possible to have this license deactivated so that it can be re-activated on another system.

I think you missunderstood my question (or I expained it not correctly):

I have a lot of codemeter licenses (*.wibu...) on my PC.
They are saved when I programm a PFC100/200,RPI + some else. Now I want to change my hardware (PC). How I can transfer this "saved" licenses easily to a new PC. (I do not activate it there) Best is PASTE and COPY (but I dont know where is the new container of the licenses).

    Hi,

you need to copy them to :

    *c:\ProgramData\CODESYS\Licenses*
if you activate a 'SL' license / PFC / Raspi / BBB ... CODESYS will add a dirctory with the name of the ticket and add the license backupfile into this directory seiralno.WibuCmRau
    Example: 000000005293658c.WibuCmRau

So with this you could reactivate at any new installation of the SD card the device ( you just need to identify the correct SN)

So in your case I would propose to just copy your LicenseUpdate files to this location.
This restore process does not work for Windows: Control Win / Control RTE / Linux SL

    Best Regards
    Edwin
