I have been using Codesys v3.5 14.0 for some months on Windows 10 with no problem.
Today when I tried to run I received an error after splash screen:
"Failed to instantiate the frame window.
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
The application will be terminated."
I updated to V3.5 14.1 to see if this fixed the problem but no change.
I did a quick search and found suggestions on this forum to uninstall and reinstall, I have done this but also no change.
Only things that I know of that have changed since last use are:
Windows updates
Installation of Sophos Safeguard (required by IT policy)
Any help?

Can you or your IT department check if the Sophos Safeguard blockes or quarantines any files which CODESYS uses? Especially the installation directory.

Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying - I have been on another project.
I tried this today but the problem remains
Hi mikek10.
Can you or your IT department check if the Sophos Safeguard blockes or quarantines any files which CODESYS uses? Especially the installation directory.
