Good morning/evening everyone. Quite a new user here. Forgive me if I post this in the wrong forum.
I am using a raspi4 with the ML license. I am trying to add a modbus tcp device so I can communicate with a beckhoff bc9000. For some reason, the modbus tcp devices are listed when I goto the device reader - https://puu.sh/GHgGo/3f88c28b93.png

When I look at the device reposititory, I do see the ones I would need listed, https://puu.sh/GHgOo/ee2017ea95.png
But when I try to add a new device, I do not have that option, https://puu.sh/GHgPi/5c62e84121.png Only the modbus com port
Any advice on this?
ps. I have attached said screenshots in case the puush links do not work for you
Hi, firstly, welcome to CODESYS. I hope you enjoy it as much as me.
You need to select the ethernet in the device tree.
If it is a different ethernet adapter to the profinet, then you can add another ethernet.
That got it. I do appreciate it a lot.
