Hi,
I am having a problem with the codesys service. Indeed, after several hours of operation, the automat stops and I can not know why.
I have not made any changes and the program has been running for 2 years now.
when I make the command "ps aux". I see that the service is stopped.I have to do "sudo service codesyscontrol start" and it starts again.Someone can tell me how to diagnose this?

I am in Wheezy.Codesys V3.5.11.20 and I made the latest wheezy updates.

Hi,
you could relicense with the CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU file..
see the FAQ's.
User the CODESYS file browser to save the CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU to your pc
and then reativate it.
(Before you do this... clean up the content cmact_license Directory - means delete the content) and restart the PI plc...
Then reactivate by this file.

My file is 116.1 kb and I see that it must be between 130 and 140 kb.
Confirm that my file is empty?
I do not have a backup. Is there a way to recover the license otherwise?

use the CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU to reactivate the license, this will work.

Hi,
this 'manipulation' is the recommended 'retore the license' procedure,
I would recommend to prefer to use it in compare to the using of the 'tar' file method.

Hi there,

I am not sure if I had the exact same problem, but my visualisation also stopped working after 8 hours or so, giving
me the VisuFctCheckForUnusedClients error (Removing Client at address xxx), and Channel closed because unused for 60s.
This Raspberry had already been Licensed!

What seemed to be the problem, whas that the operating mode in codesys was still switched to debug mode.

In the taskbar at the top of Codesys, go to: Online --> Operating Mode --> Select "Operational"

Not 100% sure that this is the reason why I got the same error message, and my Visu Crashing after 8 hours, but it seems to
be running fine now for the last 12 hours..

you need to add logfiles ...
cat /tmp/codesyscontrol.log
then we could check.
If it is really urgend sure it is aleways possible to use a support ticket.
