Downloading yesterday the package codesys 3.5 SP16 patch 4 and starting to use immediately, I'm trying to use my PC to simulate a PLC. It seems impossible to Start PLC [Codesys Control Win Systray - x64 (stopped)]. The gateway works but it's no possible to scan network.
License problem? ... Or something wrong in the installation? Please help me.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I would check the following:
1. Is Codemeter up and running? - tasktray - check if patch protection and an empty Softcontainer is available ( in my screenshot there is additional a license usb key connected)
2. If point 1 is ok - then start Control Win 64 manually by cli:
c:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.16.40\GatewayPLC\CODESYSControlService.exe -d
if this works but the plc could not start on rightclick in the tasktray -> reinstall/register the service by:
CODESYSControlService.exe -i
in rare cases a ServiceControl.exe -i might needed too.
btw Control Win service start or stop could be done by CLI too:
net start βCODESYS Control Win V3 - x64"
net stop βCODESYS Control Win V3 - x64"
Hi
With your advice the CODESYS Control Win Systray is running.
But I have a new problem. Using Factory IO (OPC Client DA/UA) I receive the attached message.
Can you help me, again.
Thank you in advance.
