Hi,
How can I connect my Codesys to the UaExpert without having a PLC device available? I know that I have to add a server in UaExpert but for that I need an "Endpoint Url" and a "Configaration Name" but where do I find both information.
Thanks

Yes I think I have already done it but to be able to create a connection with UaExpert I need to add a Server on the UaExpert interface. For this there is some information that needs to be entered and I don't know where to find this information. The two pictures show you where my problem is.
on the discovery tab, browse the first entry 'local'. or if it is a remote PC, "Custom Discovery, double click to add server, opc.tcp://<ip or="" hostname="">:4840"</ip>

I added the server as you told me but I get this message "None-None(uatcp-uasc-uabinary). Does this mean that the server is invalid or what? In all the examples I find on the net, there is a server that has been used that corresponds to an external device. I have been trying to connect my program to codesys with UaExpert for two days now without success. I just have my computer and no other devices.

yes, thats perfect use that one.
None means no encryption. you would have to follow the instructions at https://help.codesys.com/webapp/_cds_runtime_opc_ua_server;product=codesys;version=3.5.17.0 if you wanted encryption
