yes i took the library from another forum: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/f1400b71b6/, it is made for the ads1115 but the ads1015 is almost the same device with same adresses i only changed the divide value of the analog value, because thats the only difference between the ads1115 and ads1015.

Is it possible under CODESYS V3.5 SP18, to connect a split (german Leitungsverzweigung) with an existing block (e.g. AND-module)? Or to connect the output of an existing block to the input of an existing block (e.g. OR-block)? Any ideas? P.S.: Sorry for the german title, I do not know how modify the title.

Ok, this is a test programme with ADS1115. It is currently configured for the TCA9548 muxboard. If you want to run the ADS1115 single, then change the settings to the default values: ‘Is Multiplex:’ False ‘Stage mux channel numbers:’ [0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0] It is also important that the libraries are installed correctly here. But should be in this project

Okay i will try. I tried already the different settings. The CodeSys version i use, is CodeSys 3.5 SP20 Patch 3. The device which i use is CodeSys Control For Raspberry PI 64 SL version 4.13.0.0. The wiring should be okay because i'm using the Edatec ED-CM4IND-1432-4C(EU).

After many tests i see that problem comes when serial communication established for modbus rtu. If the slave device not connected we don't see the exception. If the slave device connected at serial port then we have exception about 1 hour after startup and every 10 or 15 minutes. Any suggestion?

Recompile the Project: After updating the device, recompile the project from scratch to ensure that all changes are included. Check Task Settings: Go to the “Tasks” tab in the project. It should come by default on a normal install of Codesys 2.3, but it's a bit hidden: Like for any other library, go to Resources > library Manager > Right click on list of libraries > Additional library. On the browser that opens, instead of looking in the default folder, use the dropdown menu at the bottom to change the folder (SysLibMem should be on the 3rd folder).

Hi, I updated codesys IDE to the newest version, but I lost the "professional developer edition" in the process. It still works fine on the older version I have been using previously. Do you know what the easiest process for getting the same integration in the newer version? It is only the GIT integration that I really miss.

HI I have had a project running for a few weeks and twice it has shut the program down due to this exception. exception[ProcessorLoadWatchdog] occurred in: App=[all], Task[all] I have to reboot (power cycle) the system to clear the exception. or remotely restart the application. Any ideas? Cheers

The story behind: I have had a EhterCAT fieldbus system where sometimes error frames occured. I noticed that the master is tolerant for some error frames, but if there are very much error frames the bus goes in error state. Does somebody know the limit of error frames above the bus changes to error state?

WAGO will use 0-32767 as the raw units. Note a value of 3 means over/under range. Map that IO however you please, then scale in your program using any of the available libraries or with your own simple y=mx+b scaling formula to get to the engineering units you desire. Inverse for the AO to get back to 0-32767.

I just had the same problem in 3.5 SP19 Patch 6. Trying to use a textlist for Combobox Integer element. The textlist cannot be selected in the IDE, and is not found when manually entering the name. The textlist is copied to the device, but is not used. Can confirm, that copying an existing textlist and renaming it does work.

After correspondence with Mr Schwellinger from Codesys the resolution for this was to uninstall the SL 4.14 and install SL 4.13 on the device. Once this was done the licensing worked as expected. I noted that the container then showed a Version 3.00 and not 0.00.

UDP has no packet ordering mechanism, and Modbus protocol has no order checking mechanism nor session establishment. I'm sorry but this is false, Modbus IP based have the Transaction Identifier. Transaction Identifier - It is used for transaction pairing, the MODBUS server copies in the response the transaction identifier of the request. Modbus UDP make more sense than Modbus TCP in a local environment.

I have a debian linux host running Control SL. I tried to manage IP-addresses through codesys/Control SL but that was not successful. What works though is manually editing the network-interfaces config file. /etc/network/interfaces. Is there a way to set this up so that IP-addresses can be managed from within codesys instead? I encountered the same problem. (Windows10 x64 single language OS). As @eschwellinger mentioned, I uninstalled the latest EdgeGateway version and installed version 3.5.20.0. Now, when I right-click and select "Allow Edge Gateway...", Config mode is activated without any error or warning window and I do not need to manually type [CmpEdgeGateway] for EdgeGateway version 3.5.20.0.

I added new Gateway and I can see it connected. When I scan the server for PLC, it finds the PLC but when I click the Add To Server button, it shows "PLC was added." in the status. But I can't find the PLC in the list. I tried removing the gateway and re-configure everything again but it didn't solve. Any ideas?

I am using Codesys SP20 patch 5 and in a visualization element, the "Color variables" section does not have a section to set up dynamic color values linked to variables. In a previous version (SP18), I get the option to add variables for Normal & Alarm state colors. Does anyone know how to get the dynamic color variables to work?

Sounds feasible, but how would I create this object so that both applications would use the same instance of it. If this did work, it's still not really the solution I am looking for as it would mean mapping every variable I want to use on the hmi through this object vs I was hopping all the GVL variables would be available.
