The issue s the byte order typically in this case. Can be especially problematic with floating point numbers - even more tricky if transferred with a word based protocol. It is a peasant way to try out the alternatives, dword order can be a-b-c-d, b-a-d-c, c-d-a-b, d-c-b-a where a is the most significant, d is the least significant byte. So all you need is to swap the bytes in your dword, until you get the expected result. If you don't want to mess writing code for this, I'd recommend CAA_Memory library for that: MEM.ReverseBYTEsInDWORD and MEM.ReverseWORDsInDWORD functions would definitively do the trick. Hello everyone, I am trying to change dynamically by code the IP address of a Weidmuller controller. So I am basically using IoDrvEthernet library to use UpdateConfiguredIPSettings function but I am getting constantly the 'INVALID_STATE' error. I'm having a tough time trying to get Modbus working on a Festo CPX-E PLC; it throws these pre-compiler errors as soon as I add in my Modbus TCP Master 3.5.12.30 to my project: I'm confused about the C0046 error, as I have IODrvModbusTCP 4.3.0.0 Library installed. So I thought maybe I needed to use the newest Modbus TCP Master 4.3.0.0, which is in my device repository: However, whenever I go to add this underneath the Ethernet adapter (which is version 4.2.0.0), the only TCP Master version available is the old 3.5.12.30 one, even if I have Display all versions checked.: I even went so far as to delete the old version, but then there were no options to add a Modbus TCP Master under my Ethernet adapter. What needs to be done to use the newest Modbus TCP Master? Or are these pre-compiler errors unrelated and I'm missing something? Any help greatly appreciated.

I pinpointed down 4 possible causes for this compiler error: Bare/empty statements (;) standing alone inside an IF/CASE branch — just removed two instances. The optimizer that tries to inline/replace expression statements may choke when a statement has no actual assignment to extract. A VAR_IN_OUT parameter used directly as a FOR loop's own control variable (FOR X := X TO Y DO) General deep-nesting complexity — every one of my decode routines has the same shape (IF busy THEN ... FOR loop containing nested CASE/IF chains ... END_IF), and the crash trace consistently shows for loop → sequence → ifst → sequence → ifst → sequence regardless of the code change. This raises the possibility that it's not one specific statement but a structural depth/complexity limit in SP22.x's compiler optimizer — which would mean no small code change fixes the issue. Only restructuring to reduce nesting depth, or downgrading the compiler will. Something entirely outside my library files — which cannot not ruled out since the exact stack trace was triggered by a Visualization object, in a totally different codebase. This means the same crash signature can come from unrelated causes. IMHO cause 3 seems the most probable one..

Hi guys, I am working on an old project which using Codesys v2.3 talks to Beijer's screen TA150 (IX-Developer 2.20). Codesys v2.3 is different with 3.5 and Ecockpit. I know how to import the symbols from PLC to HMI for Codesys 3.5 and Ecockpit. However, I do not know how to do it on Codesys v2.3. I know that I can make excel sheet to import and export from the HMI and add whatever I want based on PLC. However, is there any quicker way of doing this? So that I can directly import the symbols (tags) from PLC (Codesys 2.3 to HMI).

I am trying to push changes to a GitHub repository. I set up the Git Remote with the correct URL and committed the change. When I push the change it asks for my GitHub credentials which I know are correct, when I type in my username and password it gives me an error: "The provided credentials seem incorrect." So I tried putting in my Person Access token and when I put that in with my username I get this error: "The server request failed and returned a HTTP error code 403: Forbidden". Does anyone know how to correctly use Personal Access Tokens from GitHub with Codesys Git? Does it have to do something with the remote url or my username? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Hi, Is there a process to restore Persistence Manager files? I have backups of persistence variables used in a machine that is currently operating and tuned and all set points adjusted. There are about 500 persistence variables, they are building another identical machine. I would like to use Persistence Manager files from the first machine in the second also. I have tried copying the files and replacing them on the new RPI but then the Persistence Manager gets errors and then they are all reset to 0 etc I have tried adjusting the times to match. Instead of replacing whole file, I tried just changing the contents inside the file, but still does not work. I may be missing something here, but surely there must be a way to load a backup. Thanks!

Hello, I program a function for an Ethernet/IP controller. I made a structure with input and output corresponding with the map of my controller for the function block. My problem is that I don't know how to do the link between the controller and my PLC (CC 100 from Wago). The addresses declare in Codesys are illogic, The first addresses are 12 and 13 then 7 then 4. How to do corresponding the addresses of the controller and the input / output structure ? IP adress ? Does I must create the all variables of controller with the controller adresses to use with the function block ? Thanks for your help. (I hope I'm clear, I'm not english)
