Hi, Would really appreciate your insights in this issue I have. I am currently using a WAGO 750-881 with multiple IO devices. For one of them I already occupied the MODBUS Master configuration tool so I cannot overwrite it for my other devices. I have a total of two serial interfaces WAGO 750-652. The first one is instantiated in COM2 and doesn't need any protocol since the information comes in an specific formatting that need little code to differentiate between needed info. This one is working just fine. The second one is where I have an issue. I have tried to instantiate the port using MODBUS library modb_L05.lib to properly receive the data from an ARDUINO and I am absolutely unable to open the port: Signal DEVICE2.fbModbus.MODBUS_EXT_MASTER.Interface.Com_Port_Ist_Offen is never TRUE, among with all other signals from that interface, while signal DEVICE1.COM2.Com_Port_Ist_Offen is TRUE, and the other signals also read as TRUE or FALSE. I have tried instantiating the second one as the first one, changing COM3 to COM4, I've tried a lot of things but it wont ever open the channel. I don't know if you have any recommendations for me. For both physical modules, both witness LEDs A and E are on. Hi, I am trying to load a test application into a DSE M840-001-02 display, but after reboot the device still shows: “No application loaded” I would like to understand whether the problem is in my project, the package creation process, or firmware/runtime compatibility. Hardware Device: DSE M840-001-02 Firmware used: M840 MKII Firmware File v4.1.2 Software CODESYS V3.5 SP12 (32-bit) DSE CODESYS Package v1.5.44 DSEServiceTool What I did Created a new empty Standard Project Selected target/template: M840-02 V4.1 Used a minimal ST program only: PROGRAM PLC_PRG VAR xAlive : BOOL := TRUE; END_VAR Confirmed: project builds PLC_PRG is assigned to MainTask created Boot Application Generated CodesysApp.pkg Put the M840 into bootloader mode Sent the package using DSEServiceTool DSEServiceTool result Transfer completes successfully and I get: connection accepted 100% download package ACK <status>OK</status> ** Example log:** Searching for controllers.... sendPackageToController: waiting for incoming data connection... sendPackageToController: connection accepted... <status>Downloading</status> <percent>20</percent> <percent>40</percent> <percent>90</percent> <percent>100</percent> sendPackageToController: sent 112cb8 bytes OK Package ...\CodesysApp.pkg transferred to controller c0a80101 OK sendPackageToController: package ACK <status>OK</status> Actual result After reboot, the display still shows: “No application loaded” Additional issue I also saw earlier At one stage I also had these fatal errors in CODESYS: [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'IOMGRLOCKENTER' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'IOMGRLOCKLEAVE' I checked library versions and adjusted them to: IoDrvBase = 3.5.5.0 IoStandard = 3.5.10.0 Also, I am using CODESYS SP12, which I understand is the correct version for DSE M840. My questions If DSEServiceTool shows Status OK and package ACK, but the device still says “No application loaded”, does that mean: the .pkg was transferred but not accepted as a valid application? the package was built incorrectly? the boot application / runtime / firmware versions are still mismatched? What is the correct procedure to generate CodesysApp.pkg for M840-02 V4.1? Is there any known compatibility issue between: DSE CODESYS Package 1.5.44 M840 MKII Firmware 4.1.2 CODESYS 3.5 SP12 Has anyone successfully loaded even a minimal empty test project into M840-001-02, and if so, what exact versions/process did you use? Any help would be appreciated.

The result is this: '{"Temperature":15.6,"Setpoint":38.0}95}ê$10šå$04$Nå$08²Ÿå$0B` á$08@šå' First, why do I see 95}ê$10šå$04$Nå$08²Ÿå$0B` á$08@šå' at the end of the message? Second, how Can i sort out this data to use it in my program? I followed a youtube tutorial which gave me the attached result, which works. But I need some other smart way of doing this when the object gets even more data in it. Any help is very appreciated :)

Sorry for being late to the party... so it is not possible to use the webbrowser tool to display external websites in a visu anymore? As it is not possible to simply "adjust the ContentSecurityPolicyIncludeTrustedOrigins setting in the automatically generated webvisu.cfg.json file" as stated in the docs? We need to display data read from a Raspberry Pi (part of our computer network) in our webvisu. We used to do it by entering the Pi's IP address as the URL variable in the webbrowser element but now (I don't know since when, I'm new on the job) "The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource (frame-src) at 'IP address' because it violates the following directive: “default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline'”. What are the options for displaying the data?

I have a WebVisu page which is re-used for multiple types of gas; it displays the alarm thresholds etc. for one gas at a time. I have an array of structures holding the set-points for each of the gasses. I'm trying to change the dialog title for the value input pop-up (VisuDialogs.Numpad). The Dialogtitle is set to Gas_Alarms.HighAlarmActivationLevelDialog, which is a string(50): When the gas type is changed (page first loaded, or prev/next buttons), METHOD Gas_Alarms.Update_Display_Variables is called, to update the strings used for the dialog titles so it shows GasName High Alarm Activation Level (EngineeringUnits), e.g. CO2 High Alarm Activation Level (PPM): HighAlarmActivationLevelDialog := Insert(' High Alarm Activation Level ()', EngineeringUnits, 30); HighAlarmActivationLevelDialog := Insert(HighAlarmActivationLevelDialog, GasName, 0); (That's not where the problem is, I'm just explaining why I'm using a variable dialogue title.) The variables used are definitely strings, but i'm always getting the error: "The type of the dialog title must be either STRING or WSTRING". I've tried moving HighAlarmActivationLevelDialog etc. to the GVL and also changing them to WSTRING, I even tried adding them to the structure array, but I always get the same error. Clearing the dialog title for that element removes the error - so I'm confident it's not a phantom error caused by something else. But I should be able to add these titles, can't just nuke them all to make it work. The MinVal and MaxVal for the Numpad are called from the array, e.g. GVL.Gas_Alarm_Configs[0].ScaledValueMIN, they are not getting an error. I am using array indexes 1 - 5 for the gasses, when I load the form or change gas, I copy the selected index to index 0 of the array, and values from Gas_Alarm_Configs[0].[ALL] are displayed on the page. When they hit save, I copy Gas_Alarm_Configs[0].[ALL] to Gas_Alarm_Configs[CurrentGasIndex].[ALL]. (ALL just means every element, I can't figure out how to display an asterix in this question... :) ) I've searched online for variable title dialog, but not found anything to help. For Raspberry Pi I have made a python script which regularly read a bulk of data over the ic2 from a device. Sometimes I get an Exception an IOError. I assume similar things can happen in CODESYS. So how does CODESYS handle that? Can I get any info about such an event?

Hello, I think you can try to change the Connection from Multicast to Point to Point. Please also make sure your windows firewall is allowing the correct UDP ports inbound for ethernet IP. You might also need to increase the RPI, so it times out slower.

Here I have attached the task monitor data. What is very weird is that I am using MC__MoveDirectAbsolute FB, when I choose Vel/ACC/Jerk Factor to 1.0 it run fine. It ran 10 hours without the issue. But I get the error randomly when I use factor as 0.5

There is currently a bug with the Raspberry Pi 64 SL where it is unable to Trend Global Retain or PersistantVars. The work around is to use standard Global Variables for Trend Data. This will be patched by Codesys in the near future reference "VIS-6170"

Hi guys, I am working on an old project which using Codesys v2.3 talks to Beijer's screen TA150 (IX-Developer 2.20). Codesys v2.3 is different with 3.5 and Ecockpit. I know how to import the symbols from PLC to HMI for Codesys 3.5 and Ecockpit. However, I do not know how to do it on Codesys v2.3. I know that I can make excel sheet to import and export from the HMI and add whatever I want based on PLC. However, is there any quicker way of doing this? So that I can directly import the symbols (tags) from PLC (Codesys 2.3 to HMI).

Hello and thanks for reply. I not have "Libray Manager" on "Update Device". I not try to open project but i open Codesys and then create a new project and when try to generate code i have the error :/ I notiche a strnge situation. I have two different software on my pc: CODESYS V3.5 SP15 Patch 4 (with this my new program not work but can open and work with some course example); CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 2 (with this my custom program work) Wich version i must be choose? Why i have two different version? Thanks
