We have developed a project for 2 servo motors using raspberry pi computemodule 4 on ethercat master. we are using web visualization for display different screens. project is running well in demo. we want to implement it in production envoirment. being new still wondering which licences i need. Can We get this information in codesys devlopment software. code size is approx 5 mb, 1 instance of etharcat master and aproox 100 variables in visaualization.

I had one RPI device where I could login. I copied the SD-flash over to another SC-flash. This new SD-flash was inserted in the new device. I can boot the new device but I cannot login why? How can I install an application on this new device? Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution to send files, for example, to an ftp or a cloud. I can't use oscat library because 64 bit controller are not supported. Therefore, I see that the IIoT library has some functions that might help me to implement this sending process in codesys. Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? With CODESYS V3.5 it is possible for a user to do the following things among many others. 1) Handling certificates especially move a certificate to the trusted folder. 2) Change password and create new users for OPC UA access However it requires access to the whole projects and its source code. Something you might not want to hand over to an end user for a stand alone product. Is there a way out of this problem?

Hello @eschwellinger, Why not using one of those 2 folders: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS C:\Users\Public\Documents\CODESYS The main reason is depending on the company and the user right, the end user may not have the access to use those folders. Also having a non version dependent folder may help if the end user uninstall a previous version and forgot all its sample project where in this previous version installation. Thanks.

Hello is there a chance to set with a visu input the auto-logout time? At the moment, it is a fix value set in visu-manager. But for individual configurating of passwort policies I create a visu-dialog to set policies and there for an option to set auto-logout-time. But till now, I haven't found a solution. Hi, I struggle with exporting my Alarm Messages and following importing back to my project. Because filling in one by one is very time consuming I want to use export function and edit .csv file in Excel. As soon as I modify the file the import back to project does not work at all and function returns errors. Would you pls give me a hint how to properly use this functionality? Thanks a lot for help. I seem to be having a problem with the license on ver 3.5.19 patch 5 The runtime keeps going into demo mode but it wont tell me the reason I looked at the license software metrics and the visu doesn't appear to be working I attached screen shots of the metrics screen and the license dongle that is plugged in to the windows PC Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this

Hello, I'm trying to access the group IDs of the connected user. "CurrentUserGroupId" var shows only the first group ID that the user is assigned, I need the other group IDs that the user is in. I started a project in codesys for a WAGO 750-8212 PLC and I am working on getting online with the controller. I can log in to the controller and I can see and control all of the fieldbus couplers that I have. I am unable to get the internal bus working. It just says that the bus is not running and when I scan or devices nothing shows up. Am I missing something important in my device tree?

I have experienced the same with one of our customers after updating EIP Scanner to 4.6.0.0 and really baffled by it. The core dump simply shows error with ENIPScanner I/O task and on analyzing it says no source code available for 4.6.0.0. Contemplating to go back to 4.5.1 but 4.6.0.0 has some really nice fixes. I guess it don't matter if it crashes anways. Please keep us posted if you find anything.

The message means that you (CODESYS) tries to open the function block, but this is not possible because the library which contains the FB is compiled. You either get this when you try to manually open the function block (while editing the application), but it could also happen that an exception occurs in the running application and CODESYS tries to show the location where it occured. If it happened in an FB of the compiled library, it cannot show this and you could get this message too.

I was answering your last paragraph Meanwhile, I would like to understand why the motion FB instances must still be called even after the Execute is set to FALSE, especially in view of the fact that the next instruction is programmed to abort the previous one, with BufferMode set to 'Aborting'. All these unnecessary FB calls are an unnecessary overhead on the CPU anyway. Is there any precise rule about when to cease calling the various instances? (It should precisely be the 'done' status that says this one has finished its work).

Hello forum Does anyone have experience with optimally adjusting the position and size of the visualization elements? For us, the adjustment on the x-axis works in Codesys 3.5 SP20 with (Container.Width - Visu.Width). However, the y-axis is not affected with (Container.Height - Visu.Height). We implemented this according to the example from Codesys "Optimally adjust position and size" and had no success. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi I was wondering if there's a pattern I can employ to acheive what you're doing but with a "reference to" and also allowing for online changes? Someone told me that the new beckhoff keeps references safe during online changes but all the documentation I've found suggests that's not the case. The easiest thing is to use fb_init for normal vars and pointers and references can be added in the function body every cycle and this allows for method calls after so far as I can tell.

Hello, if I try to use ERR_Ok in my code to check whether the file is open correctly or not, I get an error "Identifier ERR_OK not recognized", I can use plain 0 (zero) instead. Hello everyone Since I have installed Codesys 3.5.20sp2 I cannot get the profinet features working again. Now I get RPC Blocked during device scan (see attached file) and when online I get RPC-call error (see attached file). I run Codesys on the last version of Windows 11, Profinet ports have been added to Firewall rules, and even with disabled Firewall I get same result I really never seen that before Same result using another PC I already spent 2 days to find the issu without any success, I would appreciate some help, thank you! Ah - forgot another question as it may be related to the PLL problem: I am executing a 4ms cycle. I do not call (from what I know) the Ethercat_MAster periodically in my program. The bus cycle task is set to the Ethercat task. I would assume that the master should send 250 frames per second. Yet, the status of the master says it transmits 500 frames per second which would indicate that the master is called twice. Any ideas there?

Doesnt matter. I have installed sp20 with latest RP 4.13. Same problem. Anyway My large project in RP 4.10 and SP 19 and I need these versions and use same installation programm for Codesys IDE and RP4 package. I did install again, because my SSD broke and now cant update raspberry... I dont know how to translate correctly project to newest version - there are 52769 errors and incompatabilities: after updates libraries anyway some errors still because of devices... I found solution with .deb file from raspberry package - dont need IDE anymore for update raspberry.

CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL v4.4.0.0 CANopen_Manager 4.2.0.0 I did not call rm directly from my TASK-i2c, it was trough the attached python script. It is not always a problem happens, but sometimes a rm takes a long time. I reduced the amount of calls to logi2c.py but I don't understand why TASK-i2c sometimes can cause problems for TASK-CAN
