Hi there, little late to the party, but you could also use the ST block for in-line ST code and implement a for loop as you normally would. ST Block is super handy if you just need a small amount of in-line structured text code without creating a new POU. Hope this helps!

I'm still on the hunt for drivers for example TCA9548 and a list or somewhere where all devices for raspberry is gathered. as this post is quite old I'm hoping/gussing that there is somewhere where work after 2021 is gathered? Or has the raspberry part if the community slowed down on creating device drivers?

Thank you for the response! It's a path I had already considered, however, while it has always worked for me on inputs, it doesn't on outputs, because if I enable the option to update all IOs at every scan, the IO tasks overwrite each other. However, I have found something very interesting which I am posting below.

Took me a while to work on this again. I testes today with a fresh setup and it works now. My OneWireCycle tasks runs for around 10seconds. I guess my mistake was that I put the cycle task for the OneWire Task to a too small number. Thx for the support!

Hello Simon, Thank you for your response. The problem occurs after about 10 online changes, after this a full download is required, but that means that the installation is going down. Is it possible to enlarge the space reserved for online changes, so that the problem occurs after 100 online changes for example? Kind regards Alex

Hello together I'm currently investing in possibilities to have a central engineering software / system for Codesys based controllers. Something like a DCS / SCADA depending on where you see the functionality. We plan to use more or less vanilla codesys. The tool should support the following: - Connect to multiple PLC's in a project to see its variables and debug it. - Central Engineering capabilities (for example shared libraries in a project). - Download the new code / binaries to the plc. - Maybe have functionality to combine visualization elements and logic together. - See the live status variables on all the systems (crosscommunication). I see that codesys theoretically supports engineering of multiple PLC's, but I couldnt find to much functionality for a DCS type of operation, but that could be lack of knowledge. Any tips from you? Is Codesys good enough for this and maybe there are some manufacturers which build around it? Or are there good tools on the market with Codesys support (and the engineering is separate, but download to codesys possible). The use case is distributed energy installations like Heating pumps, Photovoltaics, etc. All these installations should have a PLC with codesys installed and run in one larger network, the PLC's are connected via VPN. I am using a Raspberry Pi 2B. Installed Codesys V3.5.20.1 64-bit and installed 'CODESYS Control for Raspberry PI 4.12.0.0' I am able to install the packages using the 'Update Raspberry Pi' option, but when I try to log into the RPi, in the Device tab it says 'Sacn fail. Please checl that the gateway is running and that its settings are correct'. My setup looks like this. I connected my RPi to my company LAN and also my laptop to company LAN (using HP Docking station). This setup worked when I installed 'CODESYS Control for Raspberry PI', but now I donot know how to configure the gateway. Could anyone please help me in finding what I have to enter in the gateway configuration? Thanks, Vamsi.

Hi Everyone, As we didn't have client for IEC - 104 - only server server is available , so because of that we are trying to make establish the communication between the external simulator as a Client and codesys itself as a server. We are looking for the variable behavior from CODESYS has to change according to the message triggered by the CLIENT (we are using simulator Application like Redisant). We are able to see the log data as the status of triggering the SCS from Client received to the Log data of the codesys device(attached screen shot of it) and in simulator panel we had set the details to trigger the data from Redisant to Codesys. Current Status: The project builds and runs successfully, but I need guidance on how to connect this to an external IEC-104 simulator for testing and visualization by using demo mode.

Greetings to all, I'm working on a webvisu project on control win V3 x64 runtime, and have purchased 3 licenses for my application. -Codesys Control Standard M -Codesys Visualization L -Codesys Communication M I have them installed on a Codesys usb dongle When I try to download the program, a login error window appears with the message "No valid license found for the webvisualization". The control win v3 communicates with 3 plc, and have enabled communication over codesys V3 communication by adding one datasource for every plc in the datamanager. If I remove the data manager from the project, the rest of the visualisation can be downloaded normally. Do I need to purchase another License and which one? Please find attached the software metrics and the error screen.

I have a beckhoff EL7041-1000 rev 21 in my ethercat bus but it wont correctly create a softmotion axis unless i manually insert the device. scan for devices gives me an el7041-1000 without an SM3 axis.

I've got it running again! For testing I've extendet the g_udiMaxPacketSize from 6000 to 100000 and g_udiMaxPayloadSize from 4096 to 80000 After it does run again! Thank you very much for your help!

With this kind of motor nominal tourque I can belive that it can be moved very easy. 1,6 Nm is, for example, the torque required for unscrew a small loose cap from a bottle.
