Hello all, I would like to store some data in text file. I use the soft PLC Win V3x64, on Windows 10. I use the SysFile Library 3.5.17.0. If I store the file directly in the in the directory of the PLC i.e. in '/CODESYSControlWinV3x64/E1FA7ABE/PlcLogic/LogAU.txt' the file is correctly filled with the data. However, If I use an absolute path to a different directory no data is stored in the respective file. Despite the fact that the respective file exists and the Filehandler is correctly opened (see in picture _fdSysFHandle <> -1). // sFileName : STRING := 'LogAU.txt'; // STORES FILE IN ../CODESYSControlWinV3x64/../PlcLogic/LogAU.txt' sFileName : STRING := 'C/Temp/LogAU.txt'// DOES NOT WORK --------------------- // FILE DESCRIPTOR _fdSysFHandle := SysFile.SysFileOpen( szFile:= sFileName,am:= SysFile.AM_APPEND,pResult := ADR(_Result)); Does some have an idea where the problem is, resp. how I can get store a file in an arbitrary directory. Is this issue of idling before loading libraries resolved in Codesys 3.5.18.40 ? I am also curious about this version as there seem to be huge difference in the compiler versions which don't recognize the versions with older storage format.

It like that older version codesys can't download libraries in codesys. but I have a device using 3.5.14.0, the newer verion codesys can download libraries, but not works well in the device.

I've noticed that exceptions in system event handlers don't stop the runtime or call the exception handler. I've included a very basic example to demonstrate. It seems likely this is undesired but unavoidable. Is that the case? Is there any advice on the matter? Thanks

So I found the mistakes. First I forget to deactivate "Use access rights defined in the user management". And also I used in "UaModeler" a project name with whitespaces, which lead to a wrong namespace name.

Well I created a user as Admin, gave access rigths to the file but still can't read the files in the plc it gives the same error. I guess is something to do with plc itself.

Any way I can read the value of the 'request counter' (see screenshot) in my application. Amount of client connections is easily found using ModbusTCP_Slave_Device.uiClientConnections; But for request counter it does not seem to be that simple.

Basically, Codesys does support the Windows shortcuts: such as the " * " and " / " as well as the " + " and " - " Numpad keys to expand or collapse folders and subfolders or the element. This affects both, the objects in the device tree and the folding structures in f.e. the ST editor.
