Solved! Go to Control Panel -> Windows Defender Firewall -> Allow an app or feature Enable the options to change settings. Scroll down the list of applications to CODESYS and CODESYS ControlService. If you do not see this application, add it to the list. Make sure all checkboxes are checked (Domain, Private, and Public).

Hi everyone, I am facing issues with persistent retain variables. It was working fine. I added a few new Persistent variables and it stopped working. If I do cold reset it holds persistent variable values. But when I close control win gracefully, and opens it again then it does not. Even, it is not saving ret file in application.

It's a bit confusing, the two RPI is the same (board, OS, runtime, programing with Codesys V3.5 SP20 P2) but the one has a codesyscontrol.cfg file and the other has a codesyscontrol_user.cfg file. Shouldn't be the same? And because I over Codesys 3.5 SP 12 this would be the '_user.cfg' for both. Attached...

Hi, the option "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" needs a very powerful graphics accelerator in the system. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active.

Is it possible under CODESYS V3.5 SP18, to connect a split (german Leitungsverzweigung) with an existing block (e.g. AND-module)? I don't have a multiplexer so it very weird that it connects with that multiplexer. If i do a I2C scan on the PI terminal, i only get the device addresses 0x48 and 0x51. One for the ADC and one for RTC. I will try again with your libraries

I just had the same problem in 3.5 SP19 Patch 6. Trying to use a textlist for Combobox Integer element. The textlist cannot be selected in the IDE, and is not found when manually entering the name. The textlist is copied to the device, but is not used. Can confirm, that copying an existing textlist and renaming it does work.

After correspondence with Mr Schwellinger from Codesys the resolution for this was to uninstall the SL 4.14 and install SL 4.13 on the device. Once this was done the licensing worked as expected. I noted that the container then showed a Version 3.00 and not 0.00.

And I still get this "Webvisu not supported due to missing browser feature HTML5-Canvas" fallback with a quite simple webvisu containing some buttons, images, textboxed and a grid. I added new Gateway and I can see it connected. When I scan the server for PLC, it finds the PLC but when I click the Add To Server button, it shows "PLC was added." in the status. But I can't find the PLC in the list. I tried removing the gateway and re-configure everything again but it didn't solve. Any ideas?

Hi We delivered a system with a PFC100 using the CODESYS Control for PFC100 SL runtime a few years back. The system has once been decommissioned and are now to be commissioned again. Back then, there were only single licenses for the runtime. Can I now upgrade the firmware and runtime without purchasing a new license?

Hi jbu0105, which error doe you get, exactly? Is it error 11008, SMC_MOVE_INVALID_DYNAMICS? (It might help if you check the "Log" tab in the PLC device and copy the exact error.) Please double-check whether the inputs Velocity, Acceleration, Deceleration, and Jerk of MC_MoveCircularAbsolute have correct (positive) values. Best regards, Georg
