Thanks for your response! It seems like the VisuElems library has updated functions to the ones you used but apparently these older ones still work, even if I couldn't find them in the library documentation and they are also not suggested automatically by Codesys (when using Ctrl + Space). However, its precisely what I was looking for and it works. Thanks!

The CheckBounds POU isn't called. If I use the array of fixed lenght ([lower..upper]), the CheckBounds POU is called. Why?

We are having issues right now, and I just stumbled on that post. It seems to me you are saying your Linux ARM control is RPi 5-compatible, but the one you sell specifically for RPi is not. The fix you are proposing requires customers to re-purchase a CODESYS licence. Is there a time frame for that to be fixed?

@TimvH, Thank you, i think this way i can seperate the complete string to characters. Next part of the topic is converting the characters to an ASCII code. Is there an standerd function in Codesys for this? I alredy searched a few hours for it on the internet. no succes.

I don't have a multiplexer so it very weird that it connects with that multiplexer. If i do a I2C scan on the PI terminal, i only get the device addresses 0x48 and 0x51. One for the ADC and one for RTC. I will try again with your libraries

hi imdatatas, thanks for your suggestion! I added the process execution to be sure. In the meantime I reïnstall Windows but it dind't help directly. Finally I deleted CodeMeter Runtime Server after Codesys installation. Because this Service was not able to start. And it works (for now) :)!

Solution: Disable VISU_USEPROPERTYINFO define Go to Project → Options (or Project → Properties, depending on your CODESYS version). Find the section called Compiler Defines. Look for the define: nginx Copy Edit VISU_USEPROPERTYINFO Delete it from the list, or uncheck it if it’s a checkbox. Save your changes and try compiling the project again. → This is the right approach if you don’t need property handling for visualization elements.

Thanks Tim. I would think it somehow is relevant when creating a compiled library, but that may very well not be the case. If I understand you correctly, then the same compiled library created from my source code would work for both 32 bit as well as 64 bit controllers.

For reference, it was just me being unfamiliar with EtherCAT in CoDeSys. Anyone with knowledge who would have opened the ScanResult screenshot would have identified that the preceding EK1100 was the device missing in the library. Bottom line - Do something else for a while and then get back at it with fresh eyes!

I tried both 3B en 4. But every time with a lite version. I didn't try the full version of raspberry pi os. Nice to hear you are aware of the problem and trying to fix it. I'll hold on to the image from 2023-10-10 for now.

yocto isn't the part. which architecture you are using? arm, x86, 32bit?, 64bit? normally u can use the deliveral from store and integrate it into yocto. for resolv the dependencies, its best way todo using an recipe and let yocto do prebuildchecks jefore the install-commands

The CODESYS key is passed as a USB defice to the VM. I wonder why there are different statements regarding the suitability in virtual machines and if the jitter would be reduced by installing CODESYS runtime on the host installing CDS runtime on the host and using a preemptive kernel (if available for the PROXMOX installation leaving CDS runtime where it is (on the virtualized debian machine) and install a preemptive kernel on the host and on the guest... hi! im planning a project on a raspberry with Codesys. For this I'll need a number of relays to control heating and fans, all a max of 24v and about 2a. How would i know if the board / relays i buy will be working with Codesys? Does every hat work or does it need a library/driver? is there a list of drivers/libraries created? as this is a hobby project all tips on a relay board or single boards that works with codesys and not to expensive are very welcome.

I'm trying to load a .package into Codesys 3.5.21, but the package is intended to only work with Codesys 3.5.18.0 and is configured with dependencies on the specific versions of other packages included with 3.5.18.0, and 21 has newer versions so the package will not install. I would like to install the package anyway to try and get things working on a newer Codesys version, since for some reason the installer for .18 errors out and doesn't fully work in my environment, but .21 seems to work fine.
