Hi, i am interested in this thread and have tried a couple of the above examples in to determine remote webvisu access. I am having trouble getting the lastusage variable to refresh during runtime? It seems to only log the last usage at initialisation and that is it? how do i gain ongoing access to the time variable as the code is running? Thankyou.

Hello. I am using TI AM64x evaluation board TMDS64EVM. It has 8 leds connected via I2C to SoC.I wanna control them via codesys GPIO device. Is that possible? If so how I can do it. I had no problem installing codesys runtime, and running program on device. But when it comes to GPIO access, It couldn’t make it.

Hi, I am trying to access active alarms in code(As alarm count variable updates only when we go to to alarm table frame in visualization). Hi, once in a while I get an Access Violation exception in Sherd memory pointer. the strange thing is that I protect the pointer dereference and I get this exception 1 line after the protection. I added photos of the exception can someone tell me what is that about?

Since parameterized (indexed) properties are not possible, I decided to use architectural approach "Indexing Property Adapter" to achieve the intended goal — avoiding code duplication for validated access to array elements. Essence: Create a Function Block Adapter (FB_PropertyAdapter) that encapsulates the logic for working with a single element of the target array (e.g., with one settings structure). Declare Properties inside the adapter block for accessing each individual field of the data structure. All validation logic is implemented within the Set accessors of these properties. Data Binding via VAR_IN_OUT: The adapter block receives a reference to a specific data element from the global array through its VAR_IN_OUT section, which ensures direct work with the original data without copying. Create an Array of Adapters: In the parent POU (e.g., FB_SettingsManager), an array of these adapter blocks is created — one for each element of the global array that needs to be managed. Initialize Bindings: In a FOR loop, each adapter instance from the array is given a reference to the corresponding data element. Result: This approach allows accessing the data via the index of the adapter array, and then through the property name, which simulates the behavior of an indexed property: MyAdapterArray[Index].MyProperty Thus, the validation and data access logic is written only once inside the adapter block and is then reused multiple times by creating instances of it in an array. This completely solves the problem of code duplication while providing a clean, scalable, and object-oriented architecture compatible with standard CODESYS features. Question closed.

I am trying to push changes to a GitHub repository. I set up the Git Remote with the correct URL and committed the change. When I push the change it asks for my GitHub credentials which I know are correct, when I type in my username and password it gives me an error: "The provided credentials seem incorrect." So I tried putting in my Person Access token and when I put that in with my username I get this error: "The server request failed and returned a HTTP error code 403: Forbidden". Does anyone know how to correctly use Personal Access Tokens from GitHub with Codesys Git? Does it have to do something with the remote url or my username? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Two issues. Ive been struggling to get the user management the way I want it. I want to protect the device from unauthorized upload/download, but I do not want login requirement on webvisu. The combination that seems to work is to use "runtime device user management" while keeping the visu user management in "legacy mode"? Initially this seemed to work, but now images are not loaded when using direct access, while they are still shown if I access the webpage via Automation server. Im guessing its connected to the authorization changes? Anyone able to help out? Thanks Also, I read that legacy mode should be avoided, is it possible to use "runtime based visu user management" while keeping direct access to the webpage without login. Hello, I'm trying to access the group IDs of the connected user. "CurrentUserGroupId" var shows only the first group ID that the user is assigned, I need the other group IDs that the user is in. I am trying to access Raspberry pi on CoDeSys, but it throws an error says, "No connection to target: An established connection was aborted by the server." I am able to access Raspberry pi via MobXterm, but on CoDeSys, it throws error. Looking for help in resolving this error. Error snap is attached. IP address is scanned here successfully, but when I am trying to install Raspberry pi packet: 4.0.0.0, it throws this error.

Hey all CODESYS-experts. I'm at a customer site, and we hade a power-failure and one of the devices apparently runs codesys and has crashed. It's an old device (out of warranty) that is bought many years ago. Now this device doesn't seem to boot. Any idea what to do in this case? We have access to the drive so we have access to the files. See screenshots.

I got the shared memory example. I'm pretty sure I'm successfully created a memory space, CreateResult returns 18. szName:='CodesysDataShare'; hShm := SysSharedMemoryCreate(szName, 0, ADR(uxiSize), ADR(CreateResult)); I'm trying to access this memory with a C# application, but I get "Unable to Find Specified File". I suspect that Codesys and/or Visual Studio code alters the name I choose? Hi! I have usually only connected one OPC client (our system) to an OPC server created in the codesys environment on a PLC. This OPC client has a lot of write privileges. A customer also want OPC access, but I want to restrict his access to only read certain values. Do you know if this is possible inside the single codesys runtime running on a controller?

Hi everyone, I just created a very simple library without any code and, added it to my very simple project. after adding this library, I get an error when I try to open "Symbol Set" in "OPC UA Server" in "Communication Manager". Here is the code of my POU in the library: FUNCTION_BLOCK POU VAR eCommand : (CMD_NONE:=0, CMD_RESET:=-1) INT := CMD_NONE; END_VAR Attached is the error that I get. I also noticed that by removing the enumeration variable above (eCommand), I can open the "Symbol Set" again. Anybody has any idea why this error is raised and how could I use enumeration variables without error in "OPC UA Symbol Set"?

Hello I need some help understanding how to use Modbus RTU (COM port) in Codesys enviroment. I defined a Modbus Server device (slave) in device tree and added some channels to read from (function 3). Also I set trigering mode to Application. I have a POU in which I want to trigger each channel one after the other something like this (C code for better visualisation): for (int i = 0; i < channelsCount; i++) { triggerChannel(channelsArray[i]); // Start transmission while(channel.xBusy); // Wait for transmission to complete } I have found ModbusChannel function block documentation but examples are scarce. I don't understand how rising edge triggering works. What would be the best solution for achieving sequntial channel triggering? What is the common way to read multiple Modbus channels once every time a specified POU is executed?
