Hi, I'm struggling with updating my xc303 to firmware 3.5.17. It is possible only via USB port. I've installed proper update files on the USB then plug it into the PLC's USB port and restarted the device. Shortly after LED's on the PLC started to blink, so updating process has started. But after 10 minutes the PLC LED turned off and after all I could't serach for this PLC in Codesys, but could ping it. Could someone eplain to me proper procedure of updating the fimrware in XC303 via USB? Is it neccesary to STOP the PLC switch after pluging the USB?

Hi, though i am aware of the fact that Codesys doesnt not support Raspberry Pi 5 still i tried. Codesys Installation : worked Codesys Starting : worked but right after start it stopped. with Start Runtime it starts again but stops automatically after 5 seconds is Codesys planned for Raspi 5?! After many tests i see that problem comes when serial communication established for modbus rtu. If the slave device not connected we don't see the exception. If the slave device connected at serial port then we have exception about 1 hour after startup and every 10 or 15 minutes. Any suggestion?

I've noticed that exceptions in system event handlers don't stop the runtime or call the exception handler. I've included a very basic example to demonstrate. It seems likely this is undesired but unavoidable. Is that the case? Is there any advice on the matter? Thanks

You cannot create an array of Programs. Create a Function Block for this purpose instead of a program. You can create an array of FB instances and call each instance in a loop.

Hello I wouldn't call an FB from inside a FUN; it feels wrong to me. I have had something similar. Try declaring the FB instances as GlobaVars rather than the instance memory.
