looks like you are running in a bug in the newest version 4.4.0 of the profinet library or the new library triggers a bug in your code. did you update your profinet device too? you could try to downgrade to an older version of the library. via library manager - placeholders, double click Profinet 4.4.0 in the library column and choose an older version.

1) In the library manager of your project select "Download missing libraries". 2) In the library manager open the "Placeholders" dialog. In here find the Placeholder which is not referenced to a specific library yet. Click in this line on the Library column and select the latest version of this library.

Hello, our team is able to use Raspberry Pi on CODESYS, but we purchased two peripherals that utilize I2C and we cannot figure out how to access these devices in CODESYS. But they are working using Python. Does anyone have a suggestion or an existing library that might help support this? Thank you, Jeff

Probably the enum from the library doesn't have text support. In that case you need to add your own TextList to the application. In the rectangle you should use the property "dynamic text" to link this object to the textlist which you have created yourself and then link the text index to your enum variable.

Hello, Working in 3.5 SP11 32 bit and using the 3S CANopenSafety Slave 3.5.11.0 library on an IFM CR711S. The 3SCSSD.CANOpenDevicesSIL2 function block keeps throwing "UNSAFESTACK_NOT_OPERATIONAL" Additionally, the Status of the device gives "There was an error accessing an I/O parameter". Any ideas on where my issues may lay? I have not found any good documentation that would explain the issue.

Hello, basically the i950 drive support CiA402 Basic and CiA402 Advanced modes. I attached pictures of both mode supported functions. It also support CSP, VL, CSV and CST modes. It seems the homing mode is in CiA402 Advanced mode but how can you not have the homing mode in both modes? It is a vital part of any servo system. If I use the SoftMotion standard demo mode, I can move the servo absolute and relative but cannot home it. But in SoftMotion Light mode, I cannot execute any motion function. Here is the official manual for i950 servo drive - i950 Documentation Best Regards Konstantin Kolev

I am currently developing a library that contains real‑time data. To handle this real‑time data, I am using additional libraries called SysTime and SysTypes Interfaces. When I compile my library on its own, no errors occur. However, when I use this library in a project and compile the project, I get an error indicating that the SysTime data type is not recognized. This happens even though the SysTime library is visible as a dependency under my library. Does anyone know how to correctly include a library within another library so that the project recognizes the sub‑library without causing compilation errors?

1) it should be possible to access the type SysTime in the project as A_Lib.SysTime. 2) you could add the SysTimeCore library to the library manager of your library (POU Pool). This might seem as a double library, but because of the placeholder resolution only one will be used. Then, in your library manager of your library, select the SysTimeCore library, right-click, select "Properties" and enable the option "Publish all IEC symbols ...." For more information about library development, you could follow our advanced training course in Ridderkerk. The next is scheduled for 24 and 25 June 2026 https://www.extendsmartcoding.nl/codesys-training/

Hi there, I am trying to open a codesys project done by someone else and Once I install all the libraries I get this error [ERROR] : Library Manager [PROJECT 01: PLC Logic: Application]: Could not open library 'SysSocket23, * (System)'. (Reason: The library 'SysSocket23, * (System)' has not been installed to the system.) SysSocket23 is a standard library and I also tried using the same OSCAT library which was from the original computer that made this code. Using CODESYS V3.5 SP18 Patch 2 Please help me how to solve this problem.

To search for an exact phrase, put it in quotes. Example: "getting started docs"
To exclude a word or phrase, put a dash in front of it. Example: docs -help
To search on specific fields, use these field names instead of a general text search. You can group with AND or OR.
