Hello Everyone, 750-8204 was installed on a machine and it becomes faulty. We have arrange a new PLC from local market we don't have PLC program but thanks to our other machine which has the same PLC running I want to upload the program from that running PLC and download it to new PLC can anyone tell me the procedure please?

Hello everybody I have two of these EtherCat CiA402 stepper driver from Leadshine: https://www.leadshine.com/product-detail/EM3E-556E.html I want to controll them. I already have implemented them in Codesys with Softmotion. I see the position, the velocity and the status word so I can read everything. See picture 1. But when I want to write something like MC_Power or MC_MoveAbsolut with the SM3_Basic library it wont work and with the MC_Reset POU it shows: "SMC_R_DRIVE_DOESNT_ANSWER". See picture 2. Hello, This is an old topic but it might help. This can/should be solved by either of the solution below 1. disabling the "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option in the visualization Manager (which is handy) 2. disabling the "Hardware acceleration" of the browser. Saw it happening on some clients/PC and on other it works fine with the same webvisu... (Version 3.5.19.20 with visu package 4.4.0.0) Hopefully it will be fixed it in a next release. I haven't tested the 4.5.0.0 visu packages yet. RP,

Disable the setting "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" in the Visu Manager. Activating this setting should also set a compiler define (GENERATE_OVERLAY_VISU). Hi, I clone a git repository with VersionUpdateFlags.SilentMode, works fine But now I want to checkout a specific commit (with branch_copy command). When using the branch_copy command there is no VersionUpdateFlags and I get this annoying "Project Environment" prompt, blocking further execution of my script without user input. I already tried something like system.prompt_answers[???] = PromptResult.Cancel but I don´t know the string I need here.. The goal is to have a script that clones a repository and compiles every tag + create compiled libraries.

Hi I recently started learning Codesys SoftMotion. At first, I mainly used YouTube videos. I stopped at two videos where the same problem keeps recurring. fbReadPos( Axis := X_Axis, Enable := TRUE, Position => gAxes.lrActualPos); <- axis cannot move I checked the entire code line by line. Zero errors. GPT spits out nonsense, throwing up increasingly worse errors. And when I copy its code, it says the code is wrong and gets stuck in a loop of its own stupidity. It seems like a bug in FBD. Work-around: If you click on the small line between the box and the output variable and delete this, the variable is removed. When you then assign a variable again (Ctrl-A), then you will see that the line will be a bit longer. If you then select the previous variable, you will see that it works.

Hello, I'm asking for help with installing the license server for Linux SL 4.18.0.0. When I try to install it, I get a message that the WIBUCodeMeter package is missing. I checked the package manager tab to see if the package is installed, and it is - Codemeter 8.40.7120.501. I've checked the CodeMeter Runtime on the target machine, and everything seems to be working fine. One thing caught my eye: the Device Architecture tab says "None" Please help me solve this problem.

Masters, I need your help. I can explain in different way. I can get the name and comment of parameter if i use "VARINFO", but right now I want to get name and comment of FB from inside one. I can get the name to use the "{attribute 'reflection'}" but I don't understand how to get comment? Do you have any idea how to do it? Thanks

Hello, same issue after a fresh install with CODESYS 64 3.5.21.30, on two different PCs Win10 and Win11. But with different Plug-In errors. CODESYS 64 3.5.19.70 runs after a lot of Package deinstallation/installation handling. But every think looks not really stable. Deinstallation of MS C++ and MS Runtime stuff -> CS installation. Than deinstallation of CodemMaster for anti freezing CS.

Hello, I have a problem that randomly appeared today. When trying to scan a network adapter in "Deploy Control SL" the whole program hangs and needs to be restarted. I have been running "CODESYS v3.5 SP21 Patch 3" for a while and it has worked without any issues until now. I've tried upgrading to "CODESYS v3.5 SP21 Patch 4" with the same result. I've not made any system settings recently that im aware of which could cause this. Has anybody had similar a issue?

I'm building up a 2nd PC to match an existing developer PC. Installed the same SP and Patch levels but when I open a project that was created on the existing PC, Codesys complains that it's not the same version. Attaching a screenshot..... What else is there to match? Also, can all of the libraries that are on the existing machine be copied from it to the new machine and if so, how? (So I get the same versions) Which files/folders do I copy? Thanks! -Farren

Furthermore, it is not possible to export the alarms. Create an array of STRING and 1 INT variable, e.g.: asMyString : ARRAY[0..9] OF STRING; iIndex : INT; Then place a "Table" object in the visualization: - link this to the string array variable. - Check the option "Use Template" - Then in the Input Configuration - add the "Write Variable" command Somewhere else add a "Combobox, array" - link this to the same array. - And link the index to the INT variable. In the Combobox, you can then select one of the strings from the array. The index variable will indicate which selection has been made.

Hi all, for a new project I'm looking for a redundant controller with EtherCAT fieldbus I/O. Actually I'm using Beckhoff and it works great! but there's not a solid redundancy yet... Does someone get experience for industrial application (not raspberry) for a redundant Codesys system? I have a project where a single PLC shall control multiple nodes (up to 10 units?) with IO connected through profinet. Ideally each node should be identical however with time I see situations were different setups/configurations will be used. Codesys PLC (GVLs) |Profinet | |--PNIO-node-1--| | | AIO, | | DIO, | | CNT etc. | |--PNIO-node-2--| | | AIO, | | DIO, | | CNT etc. Ideally I think of a configuration through yaml/xml-files (the assignment/linking of the profinet nodes towards GVL-variables in the PLC as well as scaling, channel configration etc.). Would be grateful if someone could suggest library/-ies that can handle the following: - Verify what IO is connected to a device/node. - Hot-swap/assign link for IO towards GVLs, either automatically or through a HMI.

Hi can you give more details? Are you talking about a danfoss? wich model? Can post the configuration of channel' I used, on the past, serial modbus with danfoss fc280 I remember ((id x 10)-1) I remember that you couldn't use continuous reading/writing of the directors but you had to use them one at a time. it seemed that reading empty registers (caused by x10) was not accepted by danfoss. So I had created a scan that used just one register, then the next etc etc with a timed interval. But this was for the serial, I don't know if it's the same thing with ethernet. I currently use Ethernet TCP/IP interface with FC280.
