Is there any function function block which can store the persistent variable in HDD/SSD immediatley. My observation is that the persistent variable is getting stored when we shut down or restart the system (Windows+ CoDeSys RTE SL ). the persistent variables are not stored in HDD/SSD, if I power off the system without proper shutdown. Seeking your feedback.

Interested. I can see the EL6633 Profinet Controller can be added in Codesys to the EK1914 or EK1100, and then ProfiSafe devices can be added as the F-DI8/F-DQ3 ET200eco PN. Im unsure how to configure the telegram to the EL6910. Have you been able to make this configuration? EL6910 Manual shows a way but only using TwinSafe.

The connection works correctly when I use Ladder Diagram, but when I try the same simple input–output logic in Structured Text, the simulation does not behave as expected. Hello, I was trying to create a redundancy POC for our application where we read data from few modbus tcp devices. As there is a limitaion that modbus tcp device support only for single master device, we wanted to test how the variable sync happens in redundancy mode. For that i have used the redundancy sample code added a variable "b" under a condition. What i observed was while active controller is running, if passive controller is powerup, passive controller is able to sync all the data configured for redundacny. But after that the variable data which resided under a condition is not synching from active to passive controller. I have attached the image where i have highlighter the variable. Can some help me to understand how redundacny work in codesys soft plc and if there is a solution to sync variable which are under condition, please explain the same or suggestion to achieve the same. Hardware - Raspberry Pi (2 qty) Redundancy licence used - yes in both controllers. Codesys runtime - 4.9.0.0 Codesys software version - V3.5 SP19 if i have posted this question in wrong section, please do let me know in whcih section i have to post this question.

Hi everybody, I've been facing problems with the PDF visualization in Web Browser. I am trying to open a pdf file called 'sample.pdf' which I manually saved inside PlcLogic/visu folder. I am setting the web browser URL as: 'http://127.0.0.1:8080/sample.pdf' but I get 'refused connection'. I got a similar error trying to open https sites and I discovered that I can only open http websites. Opening 'http://de.wikipedia.org' everything works fine. I also tried to check using code whether the sample.pdf is present in the directory. Unfortunately, when I try to read directories of 'PlcLogic' I get file FILE_OPERATION_DENIED (I am using File.DirList). I would like to be able to open PDF files in web browser. Possibly to move new PDF files in the folder as my customer wants to display different pdf manuals on the hmi. Here you find some screenshots and my .project. I am using Codesys 3.5.19.70. I have a device CAADiagDeviceDefault: IoConfig_Globals.Axis_A In our library, we perform introspection of the Etc_SlaveDiag. In that case, we have connectors, and by searching for them by address, I can find them in the IO mapping using the offset and size provided by EtherCAT. However, a Lenze i700 drive, instead of placing the IO mapping in the Etc_SlaveDiag device, places it in a sub-device CAADiagDeviceDefault. So, when I perform introspection, I cannot find the IO correspondences. Yet, in the CAADiagDeviceDefault, I do not find the connectors and cannot do the matching. Is there a way with a pointer or reference to a CAADiagDeviceDefault to obtain the address of the first input and the address of the first output? This is because we have our own motion library with many EtherCAT devices that automatically configure the mappings, but I can't manage to do so with the Lenze i700.

Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me with the following problem. I wanted to insert a trend element in my visualization. The problem is that I have set fixed fonts with a scaling of 1.5 for the individual languages via the visualization manager. This setting means that I have this scaling in every element, which has been quite comfortable so far because I didn't have to set the individual properties in the text fields. But in the trend element, even if I select other font sizes or fonts in the element itself, this font is also overwritten and I get a label on the x-axis that is no longer displayed correctly. Is there a way to prevent the overwriting of the font properties in this element or similar behavior? I mean, I could change the font size of each element manually, but the Visu app is a bit larger and it would be easier to have another option. Best regards Etienne

Hello, I have experienced such situations with some servo drive devices in the past. The home completion information is reported to the upper controller by the slave drive with the states of the relevant bits in the StatusWord (for example; 6041h Bit10, Bit12 in Home mode). If the states of these bits are correct in terms of number and state but the motor does not actually perform the action; You can contact the slave drive manufacturer. There may be a problem with the device firmware. I am trying to install the MQTT Client SL in an existing project I have been working on for years. After adding the library to the project, and without adding any other code, upon building I get a C0180: Ambiguous namespace 'MBM' error between the memory block manager (MBM) in the NetBaseSrv dependency of the MQTT Client SL library and the memory block manager (MBM) in the CAA CanL2 dependency of the 3S CANopen stack library. I have tried: * setting "Only allow qualified access to all identifiers." in the properties for both the parent libraries. * deleting the 3S CANopen stack library. Upon (re)building the error simply points to another conflicting library - there are many. * deleting the Library Manager and rebuilding it. * adding the memory block manager library (used in the NetBaseSrv) manually and changing its namespace to MBM3S. None of the above allow me to access the MQTT library through its namespace (MQTT). Adding the memory block manager manually removes the C0180 error, but the MQTT library is not accessible - i.e. mqttClient : MQTT.MQTTClient; highlights the mqttClient as "Identifier 'MQTT.MQTTClient' not defined". Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks for the response. I have found this file in two places, I have updated the text in both but it didnt work. Am I missing something on the Codesys side. How do you restart the soft plc, I have been stopping it and starting it. The Visu screen come up but still in full screen mode. I have done the switch (linux mint, virtual windows through QEMU/KVM) now and is generally pleased. Have had problems in two areas initially. To bridge IP to the Virtual unit (solved), I overthought things initially. Solution. Configure manually a bridge in the mint-"network connections". Use that bridge in the Qemu settings as "Bridge device", "Device name": "name of the configured bridge" Figure out where to store the projects. I started out have the data in linux world (sort of) and linking it the windows with "virtio-fs". That had some serious impact though on git-handling. It seems that virtio-fs interpreted any file-path as lowercase only even if there were uppercase, resulting in git not able to sync files between its repository and the source code (it created a new file-path for me with only lowercase). Then I switch to samba-share instead and this works much better, though (git-actions) is a part that still has low performance with lots of waiting for file-actions. What should be the best way of handling the source/git? Edit to answer myself: Save the project "locally" in windows, then a lot of slow performance is avoided. Then a git-remote sync for backup.
