Try to repair Codesys2.3 and need to uninstall and reinstall it. Got this RUNDLL message when uninstall Codesys 2.3: There was a problem starting, the specificed module could not be found. Please refer to attached file. Followed suggestions from Microsoft website and didn't work out. I am using Codesys2.3.9.16. Any help is appreciated.

Gentleman OMG, I made a huge mistake when i tried and moved shaft by hand i hold cover(as on photo) in my fingers. I was convinced that shaft has key but it there is not key. So when i turn cover it slide on shaft. When i take off cover and drive is in standstill, shaft does not move. So everything works perfectly

Sorry, wrong expression. You have a 64bit system, so do I. You can also use the 64bit runtime, but most bib and commands are 32bit and are not properly supported. I had read somewhere that there are problems with I2C. That's why I recommend switching to PI_SL and using the correct gpio.

I am running CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 2 (64-bit) I have buttons that are supposed to be either red or green depending on status. When I am logged out the colors look right. When I am logged in and running the colors are completely different and I can't understand why.

It's suspected that the CPU loading is the Linux Kernal in the Wago PFC200 dealing with IGMP multicast traffic (@ 250 uSec) from inverters on site. The inverters use the ethernet network and IGMP to synchronize, the customer removed the switch that shipped with the system, and thus removed IGMP Snooping that was plug-and-play within the provided switch.

I encountered the same problem. (Windows10 x64 single language OS). As @eschwellinger mentioned, I uninstalled the latest EdgeGateway version and installed version 3.5.20.0. Now, when I right-click and select "Allow Edge Gateway...", Config mode is activated without any error or warning window and I do not need to manually type [CmpEdgeGateway] for EdgeGateway version 3.5.20.0.

Not sure, but maybe before you enter step 5, set i, lineindex and charIndex to 0. And the buffer variable should have a size bigger than 1 line. Additionally I think you should set bufferstart to 0 before you enter step 5. And in the OSCAT function you always point to the buffer address, but shouldn't this be (buffer + bufferstart)?

Hello, I am new to Codesys and I'm having trouble with running a python script on my Raspberry. SysProcessExecuteCommand2 gives result 25 and nothing happens. I used chmod +x and chmod 666 on my script. In terminal it's working when I'm using the same command line as in Codesys. Code in attatched screenshot. Thank You in advance.

I don't know the root cause... But what could help to continue when it seems to hang, is stop the CODESYS (communication) Gateway. Go to the Windows SysTray, find the icon for the Gateway and then stop it and start it again. This will interrupt the connection between CODESYS and your controller.

Hi @eschwellinger How does the persistent manager files work on v20? I would Like to upgrade my v19 as I'm still having issues. Sometimes if there is a power cut CodeSys won't load the Persistence Manager files and I have to redownload to the PLC and then copy my backup persistent files and then start the application. I hope it's a lot more robust in v20

Hi! I hade made a visualization within Codesys V3.5 SP21 Patch 3, where i call for the user management and login. The VisuUserManagement.VMU_Login and VisuUserManagement.VMU_Login2 are to small for the screen it looks good and works fine if you are on a computer with large scrren but gets finicky on the smaller screen. any ide´s how to make the login dialog bigger?

Thank you very much for the quick answer! The RPi hw were delivered last week so it's probably a resent version. I found an old scrapped board (2 years or so) with a broken GPIO that I tested with the same SD card image and with that board Codeys can run for the full 2h demo period without issues. Then I went back the the new board to test the 4.17.0.0 release but the installation fails... Setting armv6l as default, you can change this through the settings panel. [INFORMATION] Standard output: codesyscontrol stopped [ERROR] Expected exit value of command failed: expected 0, received 1 [WARNING] Error setting the Raspberry Pi Architecture [ERROR] Error installing codesyscontrol Do you have any idea what could be the reason? Hello, I am currently investigating the network behavior of CODESYS 3.5 (IDE + Gateway) in environments where the engineering workstation is connected to a very large /16 network. In such networks, the automatic device scan performed at IDE startup (and the manual “Scan Network” device discovery) can cause significant delays or freezes, due to the broadcast‑based discovery mechanism. After analyzing the traffic with Wireshark, I identified that the IDE uses the following UDP ports: 1740 – broadcast discovery 1741 – handshake / responses 1742 – fallback discovery 1743 – fallback handshake 22350 – additional runtime / gateway communication (WAGO, debug, extended discovery) To prevent the IDE from scanning the large /16 network, I tested blocking these ports in both directions (IN/OUT) on the network interface connected to the /16 segment (while keeping them open on the OT /24 network interface). Result: When UDP 1740, 1741, 1742 and 1743 are blocked on the IT interface, the IDE no longer sends any discovery traffic on that interface. The IDE still works normally on the OT interface (device discovery, online mode, download, etc.). Blocking port 22350 does not seem required to stop the scan, but I included it for completeness. My question: => Can you confirm that blocking UDP ports 1740, 1741, 1742, 1743 (and optionally 22350) on a specific network interface is a valid and supported way to completely disable the CODESYS IDE network scan on that interface (both at startup and during manual device discovery)? I am not trying to block communication with controllers on the OT network — only to prevent the IDE from scanning the large /16 IT network. Any confirmation or additional technical details about the discovery mechanism would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As I wrote before on the title, I have difficulties to connect to see webvisu from localhost. The story: while waiting for the plc+hmi to arrive, I'm preparing the software, mainly the visual parts trough the control Win3 x64 (same version as the ide 3.5.20.10). The problem is that I can't see the webvisu with the installed webbrowser. I don't know if this is a problem, but I changed the port to 9001 (randomly "free") because 80, 8000, 8080, 8088, 3000 are all occupied by other projects (all on the Apache server). Is there something wrong with the config file? This is the url: localhost:9001/webvisu_app.htm and here the config file part "CmpWebServer".
