Hello, Despite receiving an activation message after entering the license number, I don’t have any license installed on my gateway. I went to check in /var/opt/codesys/ and there is no License file. I searched the entire gateway for a .lic file and found no license. I’m really stuck—how can I fix this, please? Hi, I am trying to load a test application into a DSE M840-001-02 display, but after reboot the device still shows: “No application loaded” I would like to understand whether the problem is in my project, the package creation process, or firmware/runtime compatibility. Hardware Device: DSE M840-001-02 Firmware used: M840 MKII Firmware File v4.1.2 Software CODESYS V3.5 SP12 (32-bit) DSE CODESYS Package v1.5.44 DSEServiceTool What I did Created a new empty Standard Project Selected target/template: M840-02 V4.1 Used a minimal ST program only: PROGRAM PLC_PRG VAR xAlive : BOOL := TRUE; END_VAR Confirmed: project builds PLC_PRG is assigned to MainTask created Boot Application Generated CodesysApp.pkg Put the M840 into bootloader mode Sent the package using DSEServiceTool DSEServiceTool result Transfer completes successfully and I get: connection accepted 100% download package ACK <status>OK</status> ** Example log:** Searching for controllers.... sendPackageToController: waiting for incoming data connection... sendPackageToController: connection accepted... <status>Downloading</status> <percent>20</percent> <percent>40</percent> <percent>90</percent> <percent>100</percent> sendPackageToController: sent 112cb8 bytes OK Package ...\CodesysApp.pkg transferred to controller c0a80101 OK sendPackageToController: package ACK <status>OK</status> Actual result After reboot, the display still shows: “No application loaded” Additional issue I also saw earlier At one stage I also had these fatal errors in CODESYS: [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'IOMGRLOCKENTER' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'IOMGRLOCKLEAVE' I checked library versions and adjusted them to: IoDrvBase = 3.5.5.0 IoStandard = 3.5.10.0 Also, I am using CODESYS SP12, which I understand is the correct version for DSE M840. My questions If DSEServiceTool shows Status OK and package ACK, but the device still says “No application loaded”, does that mean: the .pkg was transferred but not accepted as a valid application? the package was built incorrectly? the boot application / runtime / firmware versions are still mismatched? What is the correct procedure to generate CodesysApp.pkg for M840-02 V4.1? Is there any known compatibility issue between: DSE CODESYS Package 1.5.44 M840 MKII Firmware 4.1.2 CODESYS 3.5 SP12 Has anyone successfully loaded even a minimal empty test project into M840-001-02, and if so, what exact versions/process did you use? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, Im using SMC_NCInterpreter and SMC_NCReadFile2 to read gcode program for CNC machine and what I have observed is that G51 and G52 is not smoothing the path. Machine stops in every point, what could I do to make machine pass through the points without stopping or what could allow me to use smooth path corretly if I use NCInterpreter. Im using it because I want to add variables to my gcode and its not possible directly from the CNC editor thats why I do use external file. Any ideas?

I am experiencing an issue when trying to move 6DOF using SMC_GroupJog2 and MC_MoveLinearAbsolute, but I don't understand why, when I jog only X or Y, the coordinate I monitor just changes the X or Y value. It's true, but in reality, Joint6 is still running like the video. Am I wrong somewhere? Many thanks for considering my request.! I´ve been training the use of a RPI as PLC, which works pretty well, however while both the RPI and PC (running codesys) remain connected to the same network. The question is: how to run the codesys program downloaded to the RPI as a stand alone device (disconnected from the PC)? Thanks! Kreis

Thanks, I will check the PLC Log when the PLC is connected again. I will update my findings here. Since I don't have access to the Linux Panel PC at the moment, I tested inside my development VM with the same Linux OS. I have no issues or delays connecting to the WebVisu using my Linux VM. Two main differences: 1. My host Computer has a faster processor compared to the panel PC. 2. There are no devices connected in my dev environment. I will continue testing when I have connection to the panel PC.

I'm having trouble with the initial loading of recipes. I can create them and load one or the other, but when the program restarts the recipes are not listed. I'm calling: RecipeManCommands.ReloadRecipes and then RecipeManCommands.GetRecipeCount which returns 0 recipes. None of the methods returns error and if i call them again after RecipeManCommands.CreateRecipe RecipeManCommands.ReadAndSaveRecipe getRecipeCount returns the number of recipes created. When i restart the system, once again they are not listed even though the recipe files are there. Any ideas? Martin Btw, Codesys 3.5 SP 16 Path 9

I seem to be having a problem with the license on ver 3.5.19 patch 5 The runtime keeps going into demo mode but it wont tell me the reason I looked at the license software metrics and the visu doesn't appear to be working I attached screen shots of the metrics screen and the license dongle that is plugged in to the windows PC Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this

Hi, yes i did solve it. You have to change the namespace 0 model in the UaModeler. Open the modeler --> Settings --> Edit Settings --> scroll down to the last option "External Model Support" --> Check "Allow replacing built-in..." Now create a new project in the UaModeler. If you have to choose your base models, you can see the option "Find another Opc.Ua.NodeSet2". I have attached the .xml i am using.

I was answering your last paragraph Meanwhile, I would like to understand why the motion FB instances must still be called even after the Execute is set to FALSE, especially in view of the fact that the next instruction is programmed to abort the previous one, with BufferMode set to 'Aborting'. All these unnecessary FB calls are an unnecessary overhead on the CPU anyway. Is there any precise rule about when to cease calling the various instances? (It should precisely be the 'done' status that says this one has finished its work).
