I had an issue aswell, I was trying to use docker and got stuck on the specific line ' Downloading https://download.microsoft.com/download/9/5/A/95A9616B-7A37-4AF6-BC36-D6EA96C8DAAE/dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe' within install2.sh - which is actually from the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Winetricks/winetricks/master/src/winetricks, winetricks_selfupdate(). Would love to know if anyone has a known solution. Only other thing I can think is to download winetricks +.net, update the winetricks to point to the downloaded .net? Granted Im not too savy with Docker so I have been struggling on figuring that part out- would love any suggestions!

I have a problem with a project that uses EtherCAT Safety. The project is developed with CODESYS version 3.5.19.20, runtime 3.5.18.30, safety CPU EL6900 4.3.1.0, TCEL6900FBS 3.5.1.10, IODrvEL6900 4.3.1.0, IODrvEtherCAT 4.1.0.0. The safety project works correctly, but when I download the PLC project for modifications, the ESM objects are no longer aligned with the states inside the safety program. Specifically, inside the safety program, they are seen as true, while outside the safety program, the state is reported as false, but not for all ESMs, only some. I have already tried to completely redo the safety from scratch, but nothing has changed. Any solutions? Thanks

Help wanted This is the first time i'm doing a Modbus Tcp project. I have some VLT with a extension module MCA-122. i'm currently unable to write to the VLT slave, but i can read from status word parameter=1603 and address := 16029 where the address is calculated from parameter is ((id x 10)-1). in the manual the functions that are supported are 3 hex, 6 hex, 10 hex, b hex and 11 hex. read holdin registers, write single register, write multiple registers, get comm. event counter, report slave id. i'm only using the Modbus Slave Channel is this wrong when trying to write to the vlt ?

Hello, I am seeing some weird runtime behavior related to the EQ function on a rapsberry pi based system. I have attached a screenshot showing the strange latching I am seeing on the EQ function, and I have not seen this behavior before. I tried freshly restarting the runtime and it has this same behavior. Anyone seen this? I am on 3.5.20 with the latest runtime installed. Basically, as soon as it hits one of those EQ's in the program, it latches effectively locking the output on. Any input from the Codesys team would be appreciated as well as anyone that might know what I am seeing.

Hi all, I've played a bit with the VisuUserManagement library, and some other security option in my project, and I started getting this error when logging in - see attached pic. something to do with a specific screen in the library - VUM_Login. Also, Codesys started to ask me to log in to the library when logging in, asking to log in as user of the groups Maintainer or Owner, which I dont know either users (attached pic). when I close the login screen and try to log in to the PLC again, everything works again until I close and open Codesys. I do use user and password to login to the PLC, and this login screen is fine I know the user and pass I setup. anyone know what did I do wrong here and how to fix it?

Dear @alimans, Additionally, As far as I know since starting from Softmotion V4.18.0.0 automatic restart behaviour for an axis has been changed for this issue. See below explanation from release notes. "With CODESYS SoftMotion 4.18.0.0, the behavior of SoftMotion axes after a loss of communication to the servo drive has changed. Now, an automatic reinitialization is performed as soon as the communication is established again. Before, an explicit call to SMC3_ReinitDrive had to be performed. would be great to have such fucntionality. Sometimes it is not clear for user which elemetns are blocked and which are not - the greyed out eleemtns are not so different for low resolution / low quality screeens. What I have in my mind as well is to have a possibility to detect the visu Element clicked on and get its Access Rights. If it is blocked/deactivated, the dialog can be rised with INFO 'please login first with proper rights'. It is possible now to have a Mose event Handler ( Examples -> EventHandler) and rise the dialog out of ST (Exapmpals -> ST Dialogs). I am struggling still with getting the separate Visu Element under the mouse and its structure info

Using Codesys 3.5.21.5. Tried installing both by full .exe file and using codesys installer. Installation requires elevation and completes just fine. However when running Codesys and closing the IDE, options-files are not written: Seems regular users are only given read-access to these files: Running Codesys as admin works as admins have full access. Haven’t been necessary before to run as admin. Don’t think I have the issue on my work-laptop, but have experienced this on a number of other computers. Above screenshots are from my private stationary running Windows 11 Pro: Anyone else experiencing this? Is this by design or a known issue?

Below the trend element, is the LegendDisplayer element which correctly displays the name of both trends. But also, it displays the actual variable name in parenthesis, which I do not want. Currently, the name is set by entering a description for each variable in the trend recording settings. But I can't seem to find any option to display only this description. Is it possible to only remove the variable name used in the software? I'm using CODESYS 3.5.21.50. Thanks in advance!

I'm using the SMC_GroupJog2 block from the SM3_Robotics library for manual movement of an AxisGroup in WCS coordinates. The observed behavior is: When pressing X+, the X-axis starts moving correctly. If I press Y+ during the movement, the block interrupts the current movement and starts a new movement in X and Y. If I release any button, all axes stop, even if another button is still pressed. Example: Pressing X+ → X moves Pressing X+ and Y+ → X stops momentarily and starts XY movement Releasing X+ while holding Y+ → all axes stop The expected behavior would be: to allow simultaneous continuous movement on multiple axes to not interrupt movement when another axis is added or removed. Is there a correct configuration of SMC_GroupJog2 to achieve this behavior, or is there another block more suitable for continuous manual jog in AxisGroup (WCS)?

Hi erveyone, Rau here, first time asking on CODESYS Forge: When working with my servodrives, a special behaviour is required on dsp402 0x60B8 object, a control that is not supported by MC_TouchProbe. For this reason, I'd like to ask: Anyone knows if there is any way to bypass or change the softmotion axis writting into 0x60B8 object? My main problem is that MC_TouchProbe.TriggerInput.iTriggerNumber only allows to choose between TP 1 and TP 2 (not both at the same time). iTriggerNumber only allows values [0, 1, 2, 3], other values triggers an error in the FB, wether SMC_TP_COMM_ERROR for values [4, 5, 6, 7] and SMC_TRIGGER_OUT_OF_RANGE with any other value. Hello, I would like to use swipe/pan gestures to scroll a table visualization element (CODESYS 3.5.21.10) on a DSE M810 display. The swipe / pan gesture control works fine, however, I cannot figure out how to reset / navigate to the top of the table again with code. I have tried the Scrolling begin variable, and the visu manager is setting it to FALSE right away but the table doesn't actually scroll back to top. If I check the “Scroll elements with scrollbar” box, then the Scrolling begin variable works perfectly, but now the swipe/pan scrolling no longer works and you have to use the scrollbar. Is it possible to do what I've described? Any assitence you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

You're absolutely right. Sorry for that. In the meantime I wrote a Function block to handle the reads and writes to the different attached RTU-devices. It processes the parameter like (str_Modbus:=(usiSlave:=1, uiFC:=5, uiLEN:=1, uiOFFSET:=0, uiInterval:=500)) and the corresponding output, waits for the response and processes next request in a 5-state procedure. It's working for 2 gateways (stable without errors, although error recovery is included). But nevertheless it should be possible with the Channel definitions of Codesys. Much easier to maintain :)

Can someone help me with the settings on how to send an HTML body and attachment? I used the Mail Service SL Example project, the only thing I added in the "Main_PRG" code in line 51 under "SendMailFB" is "mimeType := 1".
