Update: I found my error in the Scale function, where I used UINT_TO_REAL instead of DWORD_TO_REAL. I fixed it, errors unchanged.

For me going to Project -> Project Settings -> Visualisation -> check "Visible" and then check both "Activate property handling ..." and "Activate implicit checks ..." solved the problem.

I have a main PLC with my CODESYS project on, including Web Visu. I also have a second device used for pump monitoring, all of this is displayed on a seperate HMI. I am looking at displaying the pump monitoring HMI on WebVisu so that I can solely use 1 HMI rather than having two. I can project the pump monitoring HMI into Chrome, and log in and it works fine. When I'm using the Web Browser element in Web Visu, enter my URL (device IP) it shows me the web page, but doesn't show me all of it. It uses parts of JavaScript for the login authenticiation and various other widgets. Similarly, I cannot get Youtube or Google to display on WebVisu either (possibily because of the same reason). Does anybody have any tips on how I can display the likes of Youtube or Google onto WebVisu so I can view it on my 7inch HMI (I suspect that if I can get Youtube or Google to work, then I will also be able to get my pump montitoring web page to work too).

Hello, I've been trying to use EoE for communication between a Windows PC and an M753 drive from Control Technique. Despite following some online guides (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/EtherCATStack/4.3.0.0/Ethernet_over_EtherCAT/fld-Ethernet_over_EtherCAT.html) I haven’t had any success. Both are connected to a Debian device where RTE is running: The PC is connected via the Ethernet port. The drive is connected via the EtherCAT port. I'm unable to ping the drive from my Windows PC. Here is my configuration: On Debian: (See attachments 1, 2, 3) enp1s0 = Ethernet port enp2s0 = EtherCAT port tap2 = TAP device IP forwarding and routes are both configured. On Windows: (See attachments 4, 5) On Codesys: (See attachments 6, 7) Version: Windows 11 Debian GNU/Linux 11 Codesys 3.5.17 Control for Linux SL 4.7.0 EtherCAT 4.4.0 With this configuration, I can ping the TAP device, but not the drive (See attachment 8). Could someone explain how to properly configure all these settings? Thank you, GA

Hello, its still not quite clear to me how to deal with the PLCLogic directory in linux. I have the directory right here: I need to correctly access the files in this folder through CODESYSControl.cfg. Here is my CODESYSControl.cfg where on the first lines there are a few lines: [SysFile] FilePath.1=/etc/, 3S.dat PlcLogicPrefix=1 That means that if I am going to use relative paths its going to go to from the PLCLogic directory right ? For example here: Whitch paths should I use. I cant seem to successfully run any of these aproaches ...

max. string length in Codesys is 255 chars. It's not possible to cram 20,000 things in a string. If you need to send the data to another device, send the whole data[] array (as byte array, without doing anything to it) and extract the information on the other end. As each struct member has a fixed size (81 bytes, as per you declaration), this will be easy. To save some resources, consider declaring string lengths - e.g. if the max possible length for key is 10 chars, declare it key: STRING(10); and it will occupy 11 bytes instead of 81

I have just upgraded my laptop which has a high res display 2560x1600 and I have to have scaling switch on at 150% but everything looks blurry and not crisp, It seems CodeSys IDE is the only software on my system to look this bad, if I switch to 100% it's crisp but way to small. From a bit of research this could be due to the use of old windows forms or something? I have found a temp workaround that sort of works but not great. You have to run CodeSys in compatibility mode and adjust the DPI settings, this works ok and the editor is clear and crisp again but the actual tool bars are small like running at 100% Anyone got any tips for running CodeSys on high res displays with scaling?

As far as I remember, the Reconfigure functionality doesn't work for Modbus devices. But... Each Modbus device in your device tree has a name. You can set the property "Enable" of this device to FALSE to stop communicating with it. So if one of your Modbus Slave devices name is "MbSlave1" in the device tree, then in your code you can set the Enable to FALSE to let it stop communicating: MbSlave1.Enable := FALSE; Please let us know if this worked on your controller with your application and your CODESYS version. I came up with an FBD that seems to be working, although it may not be a true Retriggerable Pulse timer. There may be some delay associated with the two MOVE functions and ADD function I incorporated. I'd be interested if anyone is able to come up with something cleaner. I am surprised that this is not a built-in function block of the CodeSYS library. This is a common feature of multi-function timer relays. I also attached a page from the cut sheet of a Schneider relay that shows 10 timing functions. Looks like the CodeSYS library has built-in function blocks for only 3 of the 10.
