You're absolutely right. Sorry for that. In the meantime I wrote a Function block to handle the reads and writes to the different attached RTU-devices. It processes the parameter like (str_Modbus:=(usiSlave:=1, uiFC:=5, uiLEN:=1, uiOFFSET:=0, uiInterval:=500)) and the corresponding output, waits for the response and processes next request in a 5-state procedure. It's working for 2 gateways (stable without errors, although error recovery is included). But nevertheless it should be possible with the Channel definitions of Codesys. Much easier to maintain :)

I'm trying to send a mail using Mail service SL. I would like the body to be in HTML format for a nicer look. Which I managed to do, but only if I don't send an attachment. Can someone help me with the settings on how to send an HTML body and attachment? I used the Mail Service SL Example project, the only thing I added in the "Main_PRG" code in line 51 under "SendMailFB" is "mimeType := 1". I still have the same problem with Codesys 3.5 SP18. Initially, my project is ~5 Mo. I work on it for like 3-4 days and it goes up to ~10Mo. If I make an export of the project and import it in a new empty project, it goes back to approximately 5 Mo. Why is it doing this ?

I think more information is needed to help solve the issue. Can you list the exact steps to reproduce the issue? What version of Codesys are you using? Did you add a persistentVars object to your project? I would recommend browsing all instances of the retain variable to see all possible writes to the variable in question.

Such bash script detect the presence of new .deb files and install them on system. My automation solution don't allow to be maintained by dedicated personal, thus even the CODESYS runtime SW must be installed using an "automatic" procedure instead of using the CODESYS tool. remark I've been using the following procedure since the runtime v4.5 without any issue. Before installing the new runtime packages, I need to copy the file CODESYSControl_User.cfg (here attached) because of new section which is necessary to add in order to allow some folders to be written by CODESYS runtime v4.9 Up to now, this has been unnecessary, this is the main difference between my previos bash file and the new one. remark If I skip this action, everythings goes fine, but my CODESYS application can't work as it needs to access some folders on controller's file system. I've post the Versions in the Attachments. It seems with htop, that there is a very high CPU Load. In the Log I can see nothing, as mentioned above I've to restart the PLC with Power off/on and the log in codesys was deleted. Or what do you mean with plclogger?

It seems that there is a limitation with the STRUCTs. Does anybody know, what’s okay to save (add to the recipe) and what’s not okay? Or is there another problem with my project? If I have only an array in the recipe definition everything works perfectly (see project).
