Hi, I suppose that you are referring to the error code "SMC_FB_WASNT_CALLED_DURING_MOTION"? Starting of Softmotion version 4.15.0.0 the instance path of the function block that has not been called is logged into the device log. This might help you to identify why it has not been called.

Hi jbu0105, which error doe you get, exactly? Is it error 11008, SMC_MOVE_INVALID_DYNAMICS? (It might help if you check the "Log" tab in the PLC device and copy the exact error.) Please double-check whether the inputs Velocity, Acceleration, Deceleration, and Jerk of MC_MoveCircularAbsolute have correct (positive) values. Best regards, Georg

Finnaly i get it working. There was a line in the file that set the ADS1015 chip in /boot/firmware/config.txt which i removed and after that the ADS1115 has a green turning circle and i got values. i created a new component so it fits our ADS1015. see screenshot. It works also with Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL after adding the ULINT_TO_UDINT conversion in the library. i think the chip was all the time in use by the Raspberry pi itself. I have noticed that a rm file1.txt command on a shell has an impact on the cycle time for a TASK writing to file2.txt. Seen in the Monitor fane of the Task configuration Furthermore if a TASK makes a system call like rm, its cycle time increases of course but it seems to have an invisible impact on other TASKs too. I have a TASK for handling communication over the CANbus (SPI) where it stops sending "Heartbeats" for many seconds when another TASK does a system rm. Why is that not seen on the Monitor fane? Is even codesyscontrol paused when system calls are made? The CPU load is about 30-40%

Is it possible to use a feature like Codesys’ Debug-Step Over-Step IN? If possible..... Hi, I had a question about alarm management in the CODESYS visualization. I am currently investigating to what extent the alarm visualization can be built dynamically. In my program, I have developed a motor block that is used for multiple motors. When the emergency stop of one or more motors is activated, the corresponding motors are displayed in the alarm list (see image). This works quite well. I achieved this by linking variables to a latch, after which a piece of code displays the motors that are in emergency stop. My question is: do I need to create a separate latch for each motor or can I use a single latch to display multiple alarms of a motor underneath each other? This would then look like this: Time…: M1 Emergency Stop Active Time…: M4 Emergency Stop Active

Hi, sorry I was not there for a long time. The TCA9548 needs terminating resistors, do you have them in? That's why I went to QWIIC, the muxboard already has them built in. If it still does not work, try it first without the muxboard. PS: Note the channel assignment. Muxboard 0 = I2C_Master 1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 Muxboard 1 = I2C_Master 2,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 etc.

Hi, I got good results with SMC_NCDecoder, SMC_CheckVelocities, etc. in a freewheeling task with lower priority (higher number). Still takes some time but I'm using many variables and loops in my g-code and more preprocessing like SMC_SmoothPath, SMC_LimitDynamics, SMC_CheckForLimits. PS: your buffer size seems a bit high for 34 lines of g-code

One thing i noticed is thta in system32 folder CODESYSGatewayV3 now i have two different XXXXXXXX files with the latest being created today at the time of installation

Hello, I have the same problem now with 3.5.20 Patch 3. Normally it works if I ad in CODESYSControl.cfg: [SysFile] ForceIecFilePath=0 (This told me codesys last time) I try to use the placeholders but without success. Something special is that the Files are not in C:. The Plc Configuration Path is not as usual C:\ProgrammData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlRTEV3\, it's E:\Control.

Hi, dwIpoTime should be set to the cycle time of your motion task. It defines the interpolation interval of the interpolator. E.g. in the attached screenshot, the task has a task interval of 4ms. The dwIpoTime input of the interpolator should be set to 4000.

I think that the .err file is the .app file renamed by Codesys, so it is compiled. We met this behaviour one time, it was because the runtime goes in exception due to bad Ethercat cables.
