Hi manuknecht, the axis group currently always writes the axis set torque values. If no dynamic model has been configured for the axis group, then the set torques are written to 0. The solution for your use case is to call SMC_GroupUpdate [0] before you call SMC_SetTorque on the axes. This way, the axis group will write 0 to the set torques in the call to SMC_GroupUpdate(), and SMC_SetTorque then will write the desired set torque. Hello, I am using a Hitachi Micro EHV+ for a small project, and I wanted to have a Web visu, done with Codesys V3.5 SP13 Patch 2. I test the Visu screen and it works well in Codesys, but I get a blank page when i enter the web visu in a browser. Here is the setting under web visualization: Update rate (ms): 5000 (previously set to 2500 also not working) Default communication size: 100000 (previously set to 50000 also not working) Under Visu_Task tab: Priority: 3 The Visu_Task interval is set to 2500ms (previously set to 200ms also not working) I'm using Google chrome with the latest update, the Javascript is enabled with HTML5. Any advice?

EtherCAT is a point-to-point protocol so it doesn't need a unique MAC address. It would be very useful to set the MAC address to 020000000000, the standard address for this kind of application. (The important bit is the 02 at the start of the address, which means locally-administered MAC.) The stock Windows driver can do this for my i210 card. But the CODESYS CmpEt1000MPD driver cannot. The image shows the setting with the Windows driver. If I set all my customers' cards to this address, then I don't need to deal with this when deploying my application. A simple PowerShell script can be used to set the MAC address once when the NIC is installed and the driver is changed.

Hi! I am trying to achieve the same issue. Has there been a solution? I can create the mapping, and map the local variable, but somehow the object does not update. Furthermore, i have an issue where codesys doesn't let me set ReadWrite accesses to the variables in the "Type Mapping" place. The access will simply not be set. Has anyone ran int that issue?

Not sure, but maybe before you enter step 5, set i, lineindex and charIndex to 0. And the buffer variable should have a size bigger than 1 line. Additionally I think you should set bufferstart to 0 before you enter step 5. And in the OSCAT function you always point to the buffer address, but shouldn't this be (buffer + bufferstart)?

As I see from your logs I think the Timeprovider is not accurate enough in your case. Things to check - at the moment you run it on the same device? (for tesing purpose ok) I would set 127.0.0.0 as IP and set it not really to Core 0 ( many other stuff is there)

I have a Modbus TCP slave device where I need to do sequential writes to the same register. The register I'm writing to is kind of like a command line, each packet is a command word encoded in Hexadecimal. I am having difficulty implementing this system in CoDeSys 3.5 SP19. I feel like the structure of the program should be something along the lines of (Pseudocode): ModbusTCPSend(Command Register, Command1) ModbusTCPSend(Command Register, Command2) ModbusTCPSend(Command Register, Command3) I have tried to implement this with a rising edge trigger wMot1OPCode := 16#E1; //Stop Motor & Kill Program xMot1SendOP := TRUE; //Send OP on rising edge xMot1SendOP := FALSE; //Reset wMot1OPCode := 16#9E; //Disable Motor xMot1SendOP :=TRUE; //Send OP on rising edge xMot1SendOP := FALSE; //Reset Where "wMot1OPCode" is the IO map for writing to the command register, and "xMot1SendOP" is the rising edge trigger for that modbus channel. However, this doesn't work. The device never responds to the modbus commands. It seems like the trigger variable is switched too quickly for modbus to send the packet. I know the modbus register is working, because I can set the channel to cyclic and the device will respond. However, I can't use this reliably because I need each command to be sent once, in order. Cyclic keeps re-sending the commands and seems like it could miss a command as well if one was sent in-between cycle time. I have also trying using the Application trigger as described by https://faq.codesys.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=24510480, but this is also not working for me. See attached picture for my FBD code. This seems like a simple function, I can't tell what I'm doing wrong here. Thanks for the help.

I am attempting to place a block and make it an Analog sensor. When I go to change the name like in the instructional video on youtube it does not give me an option to autofill the block with a known configuration. This is a problem I have in Codesys 2.5 and 3.5. Did I mess up the install of the program or need to install a library? Hello, I program a function for an Ethernet/IP controller. I made a structure with input and output corresponding with the map of my controller for the function block. My problem is that I don't know how to do the link between the controller and my PLC (CC 100 from Wago). The addresses declare in Codesys are illogic, The first addresses are 12 and 13 then 7 then 4. How to do corresponding the addresses of the controller and the input / output structure ? IP adress ? Does I must create the all variables of controller with the controller adresses to use with the function block ? Thanks for your help. (I hope I'm clear, I'm not english)

I'm using the SMC_GroupJog2 block from the SM3_Robotics library for manual movement of an AxisGroup in WCS coordinates. The observed behavior is: When pressing X+, the X-axis starts moving correctly. If I press Y+ during the movement, the block interrupts the current movement and starts a new movement in X and Y. If I release any button, all axes stop, even if another button is still pressed. Example: Pressing X+ → X moves Pressing X+ and Y+ → X stops momentarily and starts XY movement Releasing X+ while holding Y+ → all axes stop The expected behavior would be: to allow simultaneous continuous movement on multiple axes to not interrupt movement when another axis is added or removed. Is there a correct configuration of SMC_GroupJog2 to achieve this behavior, or is there another block more suitable for continuous manual jog in AxisGroup (WCS)?

If I do online monitoring of code in f.i. a function block, I cannot see if the function block is called or not. In software from other vendors you normally have an indication if the online code you are looking on is scanned at that moment or not. Is there a way in Codesys to determine in the online view if (parts) of the code are scanned or not? Thanks

The message means that you (CODESYS) tries to open the function block, but this is not possible because the library which contains the FB is compiled. You either get this when you try to manually open the function block (while editing the application), but it could also happen that an exception occurs in the running application and CODESYS tries to show the location where it occured. If it happened in an FB of the compiled library, it cannot show this and you could get this message too.

Hi all, this is my situation : plc weidmuller UC20 WL200 AC target version 4.12.0.0 codesys 3.5.20.0 Actually i'm testing the program without license (2 hours). i'm trying to use the function block ModbusServer. I used it on the past with codesys 3.5.14.40 an it worked. Now not. i can connect (as you see byClientConnctions = 1) but i dont recive a reply from server. Someone can help me?

Im Putting alot of my custom functions blocks into a library I have a EthernetIP VSD FB that i would like to get Status from the adaptor. EthernetIP_remote_adaptor.estate is one what i want to get. so anyone know how to point that to my function block? when i use the block i just want to have an input "Drive" that would point to the adaptor. like in softmotion when you just put the axis name in the FB to point the FB to a certain axis. My code uses “$DB,” which in ASCII should render as a solid block. The code works, but to display it in Visualization I had to create multiple rectangles with visibility bound to a BOOL array. That works, but since each BOOL must be exposed as a separate variable, it consumes most of the available monitoring resources. See Attached image.
