Hi I am about to configure ALL GPIOs on a Raspberry Pi 3 model B V1.2. It seems that I have limited understanding of why not all the IO’s become available with the corresponding mapped IO’s – the 'dwInUse' contains mapping of the inputs from GPIO0 to GPIO27. But 'dwInputs' are only showing GPIO0 to GPIO8 and GPIO15 as available inputs. Hi! What are the best practices for querying multiple Modbus devices? Single PRG or maybe multiple PRG (so basically multiple thread) per each Modbus device. In my current implementation I'm using single PRG and I'm utilizing FbMbMasterMultiQuerySerial and WagoAppPlcModbus.FbDigitalTwinMbSlaveDevice in eCockpit with PFC200. I've the timer with 2 seconds delay there and it was working fine for single device. But now I have three Modbus devices and for two of them I need to run 2/3 queries to get data from all registers. I noticed that the delays for getting the data from the Modbus devices is much bigger right now.

Hi! I repeatly encounter a crash of the OPC server, which forces a reboot of the controller with frequent connect/disconnect to the server. Have any of you encountered this before? And is it a workaround? ie. deny that particular client connection by timeout or similar instead of crashing the PLC? This is during a development phase of the user interface. Up to 3 others connect/disconnect frequently to test their code. It is a bit troublesome of the PLC crashes several times a day because of this :( I greatly appreciate all comments. I hope it exists a fix for this, or something that hinders the crash. I attached the logfile for the crash

Hi there mate Most PLC's have a very similar concept with AI/AO - have you used any other software before? I have not used a Wago before myself, but I assume the concept would very much be: 1. Add the analog in & out cards to your hardware config. 2. Setup the raw input scaling on the hardware (eg. 4 - 20mA = 4000 - 20000) 3. Use a built in or homemade scaling block to scale your input as needed (eg. 4000 - 20000 = -100 - 2000kPa. 4. Write code as required 5. Scale output as needed (eg. 0 - 100% = 0-10000 = 0 - 10V) Is this the information you require?

Help wanted This is the first time i'm doing a Modbus Tcp project. I have some VLT with a extension module MCA-122. i'm currently unable to write to the VLT slave, but i can read from status word parameter=1603 and address := 16029 where the address is calculated from parameter is ((id x 10)-1). in the manual the functions that are supported are 3 hex, 6 hex, 10 hex, b hex and 11 hex. read holdin registers, write single register, write multiple registers, get comm. event counter, report slave id. i'm only using the Modbus Slave Channel is this wrong when trying to write to the vlt ?

Hi, yes now its working, to get "QUEUE.bFull" to work, I've had to set the "QUEUE.nNumReservedEntries" to 3. (I tried different values here, only effect for larger values i can see is the the queue capacity gets smaller.) Hello, we have the same problem here. Our configuration in the following: Codesys V3.5 SP19 running on Exor Exware700Q Profinet network connected on Eth1 IOLink Master Turck TBEN-S2-4IOL version 3.5.9.0 IOLink sensors E+H & Sick (Pressure, T°) We installed the codesys IO link package and have the codesys IO Link SL licence activated (on a dongle) Our problem is the following: we got the IODD files from E+H & Sick we add the devices in the codesys device repository with success They appear in the devices tree under IODD branch We added the TBEN IOLink master under the Profinet IO . The IO link master are ok and display online. The IO-Link SL package datasheet indicate that there would be a way to scan the IOLink device from the network but we did not find any way to trigger this scan. (we expect to get this from a right click on each IO-Link Master module but the only possibility there is "Plug device") When clicking on Plug Device, we get a browse window with profinet IO modules. The IODD devices are not there so we cannot select them. But other devices for other brands are available and can be plugged. Our question are : 1) how do we update the Profinet IO Module catalogue in order to be able to plug the E+H & Sick Sensors that we have to work with? 2) how do we activate the Scan IOLlink device that is supposed to be included in the Codesys IO-link package? 3) where can we find the manual explaining how to use this package?

Open the CODESYS Installer (from the menu Tools). Go to Browse. Search for: help ... Select the CODESYS Offline Help which you would like to install. (probably you have to close CODESYS to install it and reopen it after installation).

Do not filter on Phoenix devices. First add an Ethernet device (from CODESYS). Then add a Profinet Controller (from CODESYS). Then add your Phoenix devices to this CODESYS Profinet Controller.

Some findings on this issue: PEAK CAN Driver is the same as in every PCI card from PEAK. I updated the inf file. Here are my steps: 1. Include right VendorID into the *.inf file 2. Disable Windows driver check (Disable WHQL check). This you need because 3S driver is not certified. You will find steps via google or ask chatgpt :) 3. Select: Select driver from a list and navigate to the folder. Say yes to install an uncertified driver. 4. Driver installed and device without errors I did the same with CAN Card from ESD, but here you dont need to include the vendor ID. In ANY CASE it was not successful. The RTIOwdmgeneric is not available in Codesys or anyhow accassable :( I wonder that it fails in two cases, two suppliers, two driver in the same way. How can RTIOwdmgeneric implemented into the project?

Hello, I've been trying to use EoE for communication between a Windows PC and an M753 drive from Control Technique. Despite following some online guides (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/EtherCATStack/4.3.0.0/Ethernet_over_EtherCAT/fld-Ethernet_over_EtherCAT.html) I haven’t had any success. Both are connected to a Debian device where RTE is running: The PC is connected via the Ethernet port. The drive is connected via the EtherCAT port. I'm unable to ping the drive from my Windows PC. Here is my configuration: On Debian: (See attachments 1, 2, 3) enp1s0 = Ethernet port enp2s0 = EtherCAT port tap2 = TAP device IP forwarding and routes are both configured. On Windows: (See attachments 4, 5) On Codesys: (See attachments 6, 7) Version: Windows 11 Debian GNU/Linux 11 Codesys 3.5.17 Control for Linux SL 4.7.0 EtherCAT 4.4.0 With this configuration, I can ping the TAP device, but not the drive (See attachment 8). Could someone explain how to properly configure all these settings? Thank you, GA

Hello I'm trying to use the DocScripting collection in Codesys. I've made it work on one PC(1) for the 3.5.16.4 version of the script collection. But when I try the same setup on another PC(2), I get an error message: Error loading Python DLL: D:\SCRIPTING\3.5.16.40\python27.dll (error code 14001) My setup on both PC's is thus: 1. Downloaded and installed Python 2. Copied the folder with the scripting collection to C: (because of admin rights) 3. Placed my .library file in the same folder as the scripting collection Only difference is that Python is v3.12.0 on PC1 and v3.12.1 on PC2. I thought maybe it was something with Python, but then I have tried using the scripting collection from 3.5.16.1, and that seems to work. Just not for scripting collection 3.5.16.4. I also can't seem to find any scripting collections on newer versions of Codesys? (e.g. 3.5.19.10) Thanks in advance!
