looks like you are running in a bug in the newest version 4.4.0 of the profinet library or the new library triggers a bug in your code. did you update your profinet device too? you could try to downgrade to an older version of the library. via library manager - placeholders, double click Profinet 4.4.0 in the library column and choose an older version.

I have a XY chart in a visualization that is working fine, all lines are presented correctly. When I present the XY chart visualization in a frame, it seemes as no values are recorded, all lines are zero. When i open the visualization containing the XY chart in e!cockpit i see the lines are presented correctly but still not in the frame. Any ideas?

I believe I have installed the correct device descriptions and library, in an attempt to use the MCP3008 in conjunction with RPI; when project runs the MCP3008 is unable to find the correct driver. Is there anything I'm missing? Very new to this so any help is apprecated!

I think more information is needed to help solve the issue. Can you list the exact steps to reproduce the issue? What version of Codesys are you using? Did you add a persistentVars object to your project? I would recommend browsing all instances of the retain variable to see all possible writes to the variable in question.

Such bash script detect the presence of new .deb files and install them on system. My automation solution don't allow to be maintained by dedicated personal, thus even the CODESYS runtime SW must be installed using an "automatic" procedure instead of using the CODESYS tool. remark I've been using the following procedure since the runtime v4.5 without any issue. Before installing the new runtime packages, I need to copy the file CODESYSControl_User.cfg (here attached) because of new section which is necessary to add in order to allow some folders to be written by CODESYS runtime v4.9 Up to now, this has been unnecessary, this is the main difference between my previos bash file and the new one. remark If I skip this action, everythings goes fine, but my CODESYS application can't work as it needs to access some folders on controller's file system. It seems like the VisuElems library has updated functions to the ones you used but apparently these older ones still work, even if I couldn't find them in the library documentation and they are also not suggested automatically by Codesys (when using Ctrl + Space). Good morning, I'm using a raspberry pi3 as plc with the runtime 4.9.0.0. My program has many of retrain variables but when an update is performed the retrain variables comes back to default values. Is the a way to backups the retrain variables n a csv file? Is still the way to restore them from the csv? Thank you for helping Luca

I can't answer why it's not resetting, but from the description of g_udiMaxReceiveBufferSize, I would guess the sum of sizes of the mqtt packets received in one cycle exceeded this value. Thanks for your responses. The close listener sounds like an interesting approach, will have to see what I can do with it. I actually solved it as suggested by sturmghost by setting an enum variable to a certain state as soon as I open a dialog. This way I always know which dialog was opened last.

Hi, so far I have only used one com port - built-in interface in RPi - RS232 (dev/serial0) as COM1 in Codesys, and my CODESYControl_User.cfg have congiuration like below: [SysCom] Linux.Devicefile=/dev/serial portnum := COM.SysCom.SYS_COMPORT1 Actually I added to my Rpi Hat with 2xRS232 (SPI). - /dev/spidev0.0 and /dev/spidev0.1 How I should change my CODESYControl_User.cfg file to use added porta as COM2 and COM3 in Codesys ?

I have code written since version 3.5.16 to access the USB drive, how can I do that now the file access has been taken away? I have tried adding a sybolic link to the usb drive in the following directories: /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic/ /var/opt/CODESYS/PlcLogic/ /opt/CODESYS/PlcLogic/ I still recieve a "FILE_OPERATION_DENIED" response when accessing the USB drive.

You need to create an array with one element for each possible user. I usually define these arrays in the root screen. Hallo zusammen, seit dem Update des Packages Codesys LB/FBD von Version 4.2.0.0 auf 4.3.0.0 bekomme ich beim compilieren folgende Fehlermeldung (siehe Screenshots). Hat jemand eine Idee was die Ursache sein könnte? Der rechte Baustein ist eigentlich ein FB aber die Instanz wird beim compilieren einfach entfernt. Edit: Wenn ich die Ausführung des rechten Bausteins in einem Execute mache, dann wird fehlerfrei compiliert.

We changed the path where the CSV file is. From intern memory of the IPC to a USB key. We still have this error 'INVALID_HANDLE'. We must restart the Codesys runtime to clear it. That is a big problem for us because machine is in production. @eschwellinger What do you mean by "this is a security issue not to read/write in the plc allowed path"

Hi, sorry I was not there for a long time. The TCA9548 needs terminating resistors, do you have them in? That's why I went to QWIIC, the muxboard already has them built in. If it still does not work, try it first without the muxboard. PS: Note the channel assignment. Muxboard 0 = I2C_Master 1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 Muxboard 1 = I2C_Master 2,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 etc.
