i have a problem with Profinet on my project. I'm using Codesys RTE 3.5.19.50. When i download program to controller the ethernet is ok, PN_Controller is ok but every device i'm trying to connect is red with error "DCP no RealStationName". When i'm trying to Scan for Devices on PN_Controller there are no devices found. I have installed Codesys driver CmpEt1000Drv to my network adapter (i'm sure it is right intel pro 1000 model). I have noticed that when i installed codesys driver i'm no longer able to ping this network adapter (i can ping it when intel driver is installed). On my previous projects with runetimes i can ping it even with codesys driver installed. I have also tried to do downgrade of everything to version 3.5.19.20 and it not helped.

Hello, I have the WAGO PLC 200 750-8210. In addition I have downloaded the "WAGO Devices and Libraries 2.0.4.3" and installed the library into the Codesys v 3.5. I then create a new project on Codesys 3.5 and select the device "750-8216 PFC200 (WAGO)" (which I downloaded from the WAGO library). However when I have connected the ethernet cable from the WAGO device to my computer and on my codesys 3.5 i press "Scan Network" on codesys and it does not detect the device. How can I get it to detect the device? (I have put the ethernet cable from my WAGO to the computer, but it does not show the device).

Goodmoning everyone, I hope a codesys tecnichian will see this post. I serched on the forum and I found many topic about this tool but very few reaplies. I am tring to use the Web Browser tool, but it doesn't seem to work properly. I put several links in several forms: https://google.com http://google.com/ http://www.google.com http://www.google.com/ http://www.studiojomega.it/ . . . https://192.168.1.101/u-os-app-codesys/application/visualization/webvisu.htm But I obtain always errors; mainly 400 and 404 and in the normal visu this message appears "www.Google.com has refuse the connection". Is the codesys browser able to work as every other browser or has it some limitation? There is some particular precaution to consider when I pass the link to the codesys browser? Over the past year, we have successfully downloaded and implemented logic using Codesys, and the PLC has been operational without issues. However, we now require minor modifications to the logic. Despite attempting to upload the modified logic, we are unable to see the "online change" option, prompting us to consider a direct logic download. Our concern is that during this process, certain digital outputs or analog outputs might momentarily disrupt operations, which is unacceptable given the system's continuous 24x7 operation. We have explored online changes in other PLC systems, but due to the absence of the last downloaded backup, we are unable to proceed confidently.

Hello everybody I want to controll a stepper driver from Leadshine (EM3E-556E). The EtherCat slave is CiA 402 compatible. Because of this I bought the Softmotion Light Package from Codesys and implemented it in my project. I rightclicked the EtherCat slave and added the Softmotion Light axis. But now the error message shows: "The license is missing or invalid. The PLC runs in demo mode." What have i done wrong? I use Codesys 3.5.17. Is it possible that the stepper driver is not compatible with the Softmotion license? Thanks for all your help

Hi, I am using Codesyscontrol for linux 4.11 with an USB dongle with license. The log file from codemeter shows a constant error message which repeats every minute: Entry (6000437:8755) not found - Event WB0200 (ENTRY NOT FOUND), Request IP-Address local(IPV4) with UserLimit API Error 200 (ENTRY NOT FOUND) occurred! The log file from Codesyscontrol itself shows runtime licensed and I experience no other issues. But I am still concerned about the error message in the log file. Does anybody know what this is and how to fix it? thanks

Hallo, ich habe eine Control for Linux SL auf der ich einen TCP Modbus Master anlege, mit dem ich einen Slave auslesen möchte. Das Anlegen funktioniert soweit alles, sobald ich beim ModbusTCPSlaveE/A-Abbild in den Channel eine Variable einfüge, damit ich den Channel auslesen kann, kommt es beim übertragen auf die SPS zu einem Ausnahmefehler. Im Anhang noch eine Bilder der Fehlermeldung und der installierten Lizenzen. CODESYS Version ist V3.5 SP19 Patch 4 Meinem Verständnis nach ist die Modbus Lizenz mit in der Control Standard L inbegriffen und auch in der Lizensierten Softwaremetrik sehe ich keine überschreitung meiner Lizenzbegrenzungen. Daher verstehe ich nicht wieso ich diesen Fehler bekomme und eine auslesung via Modbus nicht möglich ist. Gruß Tim

Hello, i currently want to use a wago 750-8102 with the "codesys control for pfc100" runtime. I want to add the devices connected to the internal pfc100 bus via the "search devices" tab. This was reccommended in the following thread: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Deutsch/thread/7701332199/ But whenever i try to search for devices codesys just doesnt find anything and i cant close the "search devices" window. Has anyone got an idea what the problem might be? I already tried adding the devices connected to the pfc100 manually but the bus just doesn´t start. best regards Moritz

I just cannot connect through the codesys ide. Can anyone help me before I lose my mind?

Codesys 3.5 17.30, plc - crevis GN-9373. I need to use RTC of pls for write in registers (need to check difference of writen 100 and 200 registers). For this i try to use SysTimeRtc (SysTimeRtc.SysTimeRtcGet) but its not working. After it i tryed to use SysTimeGetMs and something like this but still not working. Library? Mb but check project, SysTime with SysTimeRtc already, all what i know - already is here. Its my first try to learn ST (early used fbd and ladder, yeah), pls help with it. Mb problem with a syntaxis, but im not sure.

Unfortunately, the "C0138: No matching 'FB_Init" method found" error is a nightmare for CODESYS V3.5 SP21. I'm not sure if anything has been done about this or if anything will be fixed. I've encountered the same issue many times, and it was only resolved by completely uninstalling SP21, deleting all related files and folders from my computer, and then installing SP19. So, I've given up on using SP21 and switched back to SP19patch7. The option to update "Control for Linux SL" is not shown in the "deploy control SL tool", I can see and update the gateway but not the control (3.5.21 SP4). Has the way to update control SL changed? In the process of fault finding I removed the control SL entirely from my target, then I had to revert to version 3.5.21.0 SP 1 to re-install "Control SL 4.17.0.0". So I thought it was just a matter of using SP1 to update also to 4.18.0.0, but after installing the files for 4.18.0.0 in the SP1-version, the behavior was identical to SP4, ie no Control for Linux SL shown in the deploy tool.. See screenshots.

Open the CODESYS Installer. Create an export file from your current PC from your current version. Then on the other PC Open the installer and install a new version based on the same essentials version, but additionally select the export file which you have created on the first PC. Or just install (import) it within the already existing version. For the installer, you can install it from: https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-installer.html For help see: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Installer/_inst_install_setups_and_addons.html On PC 1, save the project as projectarchive (which will then include all the libraries and devices). Then extract this projectarchive on PC 2.

Hello, I am currently using Codesys Control RTE Softmotion V3 to control my servo-drives in CAN, EtherCAT and PROFINET IRT. I am using a PC with Windows 10 with the following boards: - PEAK-CAN PCIe board (for CAN and Softmotion); - Hilscher CifX with firmware 3.X and SysDrv3s driver (for PROFINET IRT); - Realteak standard NIC (for EtherCAT). I would like to switch to Linux (Debian), because this computer is old, slow, and outdated (Windows 11 is far from being compatible with this computer). Before doing this, I would like to be sure of the compatility between my 3 boards and Codesys Control Linux SL. Otherwize, I will stay on Windows 10 and use it in an isolated environnement. Hello, basically the i950 drive support CiA402 Basic and CiA402 Advanced modes. I attached pictures of both mode supported functions. It also support CSP, VL, CSV and CST modes. It seems the homing mode is in CiA402 Advanced mode but how can you not have the homing mode in both modes? It is a vital part of any servo system. If I use the SoftMotion standard demo mode, I can move the servo absolute and relative but cannot home it. But in SoftMotion Light mode, I cannot execute any motion function. As far as I know, there is no other limitations than the 2 hours limit. The demo mode should be plenty enough for testing purposes. Regarding instances. In the device tree, 1 master = 1 instance, no matter how many slaves the master is communicating with. But it is also possible that your Codesys runtime act as a slave. In this case, each slave in the device tree is one instance. You can also use the license metric tool in the IDE. Hi Reinier, What usually works for me is settings it up in the following way: In the sender block make sure that the list identifier is unique for the whole installation (this is only relevant when you have multiple senders in 1 network). When you are linking the NVL to a file make sure that the path to this file doesn't change. In my experience the NVL stops working when you change the working directory and afterwards open the NVL in de Codesys IDE. If this doesn’t apply to you application, you could also try to change the port number, maybe there is an other process making use of port 1202. Kind regards Alex

1) it should be possible to access the type SysTime in the project as A_Lib.SysTime. 2) you could add the SysTimeCore library to the library manager of your library (POU Pool). This might seem as a double library, but because of the placeholder resolution only one will be used. Then, in your library manager of your library, select the SysTimeCore library, right-click, select "Properties" and enable the option "Publish all IEC symbols ...."
