Hi all. I'm pretty new to codesys. Maybe a few months. I've had on and off issues here and there. This issue I cant figure out. The top line is one of 2 that I had. The other one has mysteriously left. the 2nd and 3rd showed up after I restarted the program. I'm not sure how to take care of them. Please help!

Hi, I realized that if I replug the power supply the persistent variables lost their value with the new software too. Cold reset do not affect the variables value but hardware reboot still reset the values. Application Composer can't be activated. What is the solution?

Initially I had the same problem in CoDeSys when selecting a newly installed TTF font, while CoDeSys was running. I solved it by closing Codesys and running it again to restart the initialization process. After that, using the new font did not pop up errors. I also had cases with files that had a ttf extension, but were actually not TrueType.

Update the Device: Right-click on the device icon in the project tree. Select the “Update Device” option. Recompile the Project: After updating the device, recompile the project from scratch to ensure that all changes are included. Check Task Settings: Go to the “Tasks” tab in the project. Check the priority settings for the tasks to ensure they are configured correctly.

After correspondence with Mr Schwellinger from Codesys the resolution for this was to uninstall the SL 4.14 and install SL 4.13 on the device. Once this was done the licensing worked as expected. I noted that the container then showed a Version 3.00 and not 0.00.

Nope! The file path is $$PlcLogic$$ and NOT $$PLCLogic$$. Otherwise a new folder ('PLCLogic') is created (at least with a linux rt - like raspberry or compute module) with the new file in it if you open the file with eFileMode := FILE.MODE.MRDWR. That is a bad bug that I'll report right after this comment.

hi imdatatas, thanks for your suggestion! I added the process execution to be sure. In the meantime I reïnstall Windows but it dind't help directly. Finally I deleted CodeMeter Runtime Server after Codesys installation. Because this Service was not able to start. And it works (for now) :)!

Enabling Anonymous Login 1. Navigate to 'Device' > 'Communication Settings' > 'Device'. 2. Next, click on 'Change Runtime Security Policy'. 3. In the new window, find and check the box for 'Allow anonymous login'. After completing these steps, you should be able to communicate with the OPC UA server.

I stopped the simulation and tried to rebuild. "Cloned Task0.task0. Priority already in use" error was shown after rebuilding. I used Build-Clean All option and rebuilt again. Now the logic started working. But I am not still sure what caused the error in first place. If somebody knows about this error, please enlighten me. Thanks svn

I'm still on the hunt for drivers for example TCA9548 and a list or somewhere where all devices for raspberry is gathered. as this post is quite old I'm hoping/gussing that there is somewhere where work after 2021 is gathered? Hi, I have an older project which has been running for years. Unfortunately I have to replace current Raspberry. I repplaced it by new rpi 3 with newest 32 bit Raspberry OS. I oredered a new runtime licence. When I try to activate it, the connection to target is interrupted immediatelly after press next button in the last step of instalation.

However, after installing the license, connecting, etc. (without any problems), we cannot get the program into the PLC with entries that we have not seen before. to modify and change the color of this icons from symbols lib I placed it in a visu. After download to the device, I uploaded the SVG files and saved it local. Now I was able to modify them with inkscape and import it to my own imagepool in the project :-)

from another post on this forum .... In your library project select Project -> Project Information. On the Properties table remove the "LanguageModelAttribute" Value "Qualified Access Only". This will allow you to access the object without qualifying the access. ...... I guess they've compiled it the library with that setting and now I need to mess around with versions.
