The story behind: I have had a EhterCAT fieldbus system where sometimes error frames occured. I noticed that the master is tolerant for some error frames, but if there are very much error frames the bus goes in error state. Does somebody know the limit of error frames above the bus changes to error state?

I have a debian linux host running Control SL. I tried to manage IP-addresses through codesys/Control SL but that was not successful. What works though is manually editing the network-interfaces config file. /etc/network/interfaces. Is there a way to set this up so that IP-addresses can be managed from within codesys instead? Sounds feasible, but how would I create this object so that both applications would use the same instance of it. If this did work, it's still not really the solution I am looking for as it would mean mapping every variable I want to use on the hmi through this object vs I was hopping all the GVL variables would be available.

Thanks once again. Right now the codesys virtual control sl docker is using the host ip itself not the docker ip. so the local host edge gateway was able to search the virtual plc. so you are telling me instead of local host edge gateway I should use the edge gateway docker version?

I am currently having the issue that Codesyscontrol only runs for 10 seconds on my Raspberry Pi 4. I believe the problem is because the MAC address range is of the Raspberry is 88:A2:9E:XX:XX:XX. When will Codesys Control For Raspberry Pi 4.17.0.0 be released to fix this issue?

I am struggling with this issue right now (again). I have nested structures with configurable array sizes. In the past I ever used parameter list. Very easy way! As of now I cannot find any solution. Ridiculous that they deprecated it without an alternative solution.

Hi kporter, a more direct way would be to use SMC_FollowPosition to write the set positions directly to the servo drive. This FB has reacts on changes of the fSetPosition on each call, without a need for a rising edge on Execute. Hi, I have an older project which has been running for years. Unfortunately I have to replace current Raspberry. I repplaced it by new rpi 3 with newest 32 bit Raspberry OS. I oredered a new runtime licence. When I try to activate it, the connection to target is interrupted immediatelly after press next button in the last step of instalation.

Just verified the behaviour. Still is the same. It should be attached here. But I also tried the DCF-file with the axis in the lab with the real drive: The MC_Power block never goes out of busy. Had not time to investigate further, though.

To prevent ambiguous use of this enumeration value. Let's say another ENUM is available in your project or in another library which has an enumeration value AM_WRITE, then it is not clear which AM_WRITE you want to assign. By this qualified access to the SysFile.AM_WRITE, it is completely clear for the compiler.

However, after installing the license, connecting, etc. (without any problems), we cannot get the program into the PLC with entries that we have not seen before. Is there anyone who has also experienced this? Better yet, does anyone have the solution?

For Raspberry Pi I have made a python script which regularly read a bulk of data over the ic2 from a device. Sometimes I get an Exception an IOError. I assume similar things can happen in CODESYS. So how does CODESYS handle that? Can I get any info about such an event?
