Maybe your slave device didn't properly closed its socket port and CODESYS is unable to reconnect? Did you restart your slave device?

Hi manuknecht, the axis group currently always writes the axis set torque values. If no dynamic model has been configured for the axis group, then the set torques are written to 0. The solution for your use case is to call SMC_GroupUpdate [0] before you call SMC_SetTorque on the axes. This way, the axis group will write 0 to the set torques in the call to SMC_GroupUpdate(), and SMC_SetTorque then will write the desired set torque. I figured this out on my own with this logic: usually the Serial port on a Raspberry pi is on /dev/ttyUSB0 then you need to set linux.DeviceFile=/dev/ttyUSB in codesys you then must set com port to 1 so i assumed codesys subtracts 1 from the number and adds this to the filename... (in code it would look like this: var comPort : byte := '1'; linuxDevice : string := '/dev/ttyUSB'; filename : string; end_var filename := concat(linuxDevice, (to_string(comPort-1)); filaname then is /dev/ttyUSB0 RevPi uses ttyRS485 as Serial port so you must remove the last number from the name and set the com port to this number +1 i hope this is understandable ;-)

Hello, according to Codesys, the problem should be solved with version 4.3.0.0. After the update to version 4.3.0.0 I had the problem that the recipes weren’t saved correctly, but loading was okay. Return to the version 4.2.0.0 didn’t change the behavior. Strange… So I uninstalled the update, cleaned the project and built it new. The known behavior of version 4.2.0.0 was back. Update to version 4.3.0.0, clean and build it new, it works. Even with version 4.2.0.0. Strange, but okay. Notice: ManCommands.LoadRecipe() no longer writes into the PLC. Just as it should be. As of now, I can use the new version.

Hi, I'm connecting to a OPC UA Server using the Data Soruce Manager OPC UA Client. This works well until the OPC UA Server updates and the OPC UA list doesn't match up when i did last clicked the "Update variables" to add variables. All the variables are still the exists and none are removed from the server, but more are added during the engineering process. The error message i get in CODESYS is "Error in OPC UA call BadAttributeIdInvalid, Error ID: 268468277". The issues is fixed when i press the "Update variables" button and just press ok without adding or removing any variables in the list. Is there a way to either automatically update the browsepath if it fails or on startup, or to trigger it by code?

you need to get the addons that the person that programmed it used. I always store an .installation-config file alongside the project. If you have lost that, then it gets a bit of a headache: I think even with SP18 you can hit yes to open it anyway, and it will suggest which addons it thinks are missing, if you double click the yellow "missing-addons" in the status bar. If you know you have the right addons, you can do a "Save As.." and it will write your current addon list to the file, and you wont get the error next time.

We have several old project written with 3.5.17 and 3.5.18 and also some older Until now when a customer ordered a product from us. We just installed (we have a tested image) and added a license Now the license policy has changed and we have to buy a License Control Basic S or M However it only works with CODESYS Development System Version 3.5.19.10 or higher Does that mean we have to upgrade all our old products? That is not a simple task as a previous post has explained with weird error messages from CODESYS V3.5. Next we have to do rigorous testing of our applications afterwards. It is very expensive
